The deadline has been extended by a day to Sunday night with the full draw etc being made next Monday so there is now less than a week left to enter.

Whilst in theory there may be a further period to enter (particularly for those who may be taking on wpl sides next season with at least 2 becoming vacant next month) the advantages to entering before the deadline are twofold - You will be guaranteed none of your teams will be drawn in the same groups if you have multiple sides and you are guaranteed entry as ALL teams that enter by the deadline are guaranteed a place in the comp, no one is guaranteed a spot after the deadline as it all comes down to getting sufficient numbers to create a group.

Please try to enter if you can. We are at 36 teams which is the lowest number of entries in quite a few seasons. The more that enter the better the prizes and the likelier it is I get tempted to bump up the prizes/pass on prizes if I win.

For example, if we can get to last season's 48 entries Charscot will add a further £ 10million to the prize pool which will guarantee more prizes spread across the comp.

The Super Cup draw for next season has been made -

Many many thanks to all those who have taken the time to enter, it is greatly appreciated. Sadly numbers are way down, lost a quarter of the entries so the coming season may be the last time the comp is run.

Consequently the prizes are reduced to just those who make it to the last 4 at present.

I will allow more entries via this Super Cup chat but I won't be putting up a separate thread as it feels like I am spamming the board at this point having begged for more entries without luck over the last month.

With some WPL teams becoming vacant at the end of the season if new managers are found for them they will have the option of free entry into the cup if there are enough teams to make up a group. So posting in this thread to say you will play would hopefully result in another group being created. So if you want to enter post on here or pm myself, thanks.

Again, many thanks to all of you who have entered , it means a lot and isn't forgotten

Ok, we have another 4 team group with the two soon to be vacant sides being joined by Steve's MTK and Craig's Teesside Reds that I somehow managed to completely miss despite him entering a month ago

Further entries will still be welcomed until week 31 so if you want to enter you still can and if you have multiple teams I will be able to keep at least two seperate at that point as the two soon to be vacant teams are both going to the same manager.

Quick update - We have had 6 more entries in total so 2 groups of 3 will be added at present.

I will wait in the hope of at least a couple more entries so the Super Cup fixtures thread will not include the new entries until the final deadline has passed or we have 2 more sides, whichever comes first.

Ok, we have had 3 more entries taking us to 9 so we will have a draw shortly for 3 x 3 team groups and if we get any more entries they can fill out each of the groups. That way all current entries get to play (rather than doing 4 team groups and having one team left waiting hoping for another 2 or more entries).
