Please note this match will be awarded to be fair to all competitors. The rules allow for one extra attempt at each match and if I allow an extra attempt on this match next week (when it could be played0 then it would be unfair on any teams in other rounds of the comp if they then weren't allowed the same number of attempts and we cannot have the number of attempts increased as any further one would make the comp conceivably capable of overrunning (despite it normally running to a fairly early finish).

This is because the comp is tailored to allow for the maximum number of allowed failed games and also to allow for multiple weeks for a semi-final to be resolved (semi-finals and finals are not awarded if at all possible due to the importance of those two rounds).

Ok, table, results etc have been updated with a 3-0 win awarded to Metal Militia. For what it is worth John even if you had played and won the game 3-0 your team couldn't progress.

Congrats to all the divisional winners on their progression. One division to be determined next week with Ziaste needing to win to leapfrog The Academy Reserves.

Whichever team that finishes second in that group will go through and be joined by Whitebrook Rangers, Space Cadets, Wascisco Red Sox, The Reds, FC Elfsborg and Metal Militia.

Thanks to all for taking part.

The team with the worst group record and receiving £ 1,000,000 will be Spondon if they fail to win next week and if they win it will be Zakreze.

Beeston Athletic have taken the prize for most draws, winning £ 200,000.

Please note that I made a mistake with the tables Ad following these corrections it has had the following effect.

FC Elfsborg are runner's up in their group and qualify as worst of the 7 best runner's up as whilst Amsterdam can equal their record with a 3-0 win next Monday the next decider after goal difference and goals scored is record against the side directly above you in the division when comparing to clubs outside the division. Elfsborg have a win against the winners of their division, Amsterdam don't.

So, the only thing to be decided next week is who wins the one remaining group undecided between Ziaste and The Academy Reserves with the other side taking one of the best runner's up spots.

Apologies for the confusion, made a couple of stupid mistakes in the comp this year which thankfully most haven't noticed (it appears senility is catching up with me - had to happen).
