Original post has vanished due to the forum bug. No backup of my weekly waffle (no loss obviously) so will continue from this week.

Week 26

With Prestatyn certain to bottom it after going top the cameras went to Shaolin anticipating they would go top but they were taken apart by visitors A.F.C Binfield who won 3-0.

This gave St Joseph's BC the opportunity to return to the top, which they did with a 2-0 win over The Northerners.

The other highlights match was from Division 2 as Requiem Shark, already promoted, confirmed their divisional title with a 3-0 win over Rapid Gentrification.

Week 15

Good to see the focus of the tv coverage finally drop below the top two divisions as the live match saw two teams who haven't made any tv appearance in years, Requiem Shark and hosts Ynysfawr Athletic, in a top quality battle of two sides likely to be in the top 3 at the end of the season. Requiem won 2-1.

The highlights package focused on the two likely title challengers.

St Joseph's 1-1 draw at Balham was followed by The Academy's 3-1 victory over Broomhall Lions to close the gap at the top.

Week 16

No surprise as the main match was the meeting of th top two as Long Eaton Archers won quite brilliantly 2-0 at St Joseph's BC to go top of the league.

The first highlighted match was Shaolin's smash and grab as they got an 89th minute winner to win 2-1 at The Academy and leapfrog them in the table.

Completing the package was Colwyn Bay, top at kick off in Division One, drawing 1-1 at Rivendell.

Week 17

This week was both a truly awful selection of games and also entirely predictable as the tv companies couldn't see past the top flight despite plenty of exciting dramatic ties elsewhere. So we were stuck with 3 derby matches involving purely top flight sides.

As expected the live match saw tedious telly favourites Prestatyn Town lose at home to local rivals Rhyl 2-1.

The cameras visited rock bottom Vanbrugh to see them repeat their loss to Charscot 1-0 with the final game being Long Eaton Archer's 4-2 loss at Shaolin.

Showing the holders lose at home to a Division 2 side, or a top flight side lose at the team 3rd from bottom of the league or say a Division One promotion chaser winning away to a top flight side would all have been far more entertaining.

Week 18

A breath of fresh air as the tv cameras dropped down to Division 2 to watch the team of the season, Requiem Shark, travel to fourth placed Carnbroe United and record an excellent 2-0 win to continue their superb unbeaten league season.

The highlights package was less enthralling as Shaolin scored 3 goals and won 2-1 at Real Madrid, whilst phony title challengers Prestatyn Town, the darlings of tv schedulers, lost 2-0 at home to Charscot.

Week 19

No surprise as the meetings of teams fighting it out for the League title hogged the limelight. The order of games was a surprise as Shaolin's 0-0 draw with St Joseph's BC was chosen for live coverage whilst the leaders Long Eaton Archers visit to Champions The Academy was only a highlights game as the Champions dragged themselves into contention with a 1-0 win.

Finally we have found a team so bad that it stops the cameras turning up for Prestatyn Town's games, step up bottom club Vanbrugh Royals.

In a week short on tv goals the final match saw Division One leaders Spondon Phoenix draw 0-0 with fellow promotion chasers Southpool.

Week 20

The usual cup focus on week 20 with the main match a slight surprise as St Joseph's BC beat Division 1 Wascisco Red Sox 2-1 as expected. A cup shock or a more evenly matched match would have made more sense.

The highlights package saw an all top flight meeting as Charscot beat Rhyl 2-0 and the final match had top flight A.F.C Binfield win 2-0 at Division 1 Beeston Athletic.

Week 21

A slightly strange choice of live match as Shaolin beat mid-table Ziaste Nequeno 1-0. Maybe a sign the tv executives feel Shaolin are the likely Champions ??

Struggling Broomhall Lions 1-1 draw with St Joseph's BC was equally puzzling.

The final choice completed the strange choices as leaders Spondon beat Carnbroe Rovers 2-0 in a match that wasn't even the top billing in it's division.

Week 22

Disappointing to see the lower divisions ignored this week but a relief that in a week when Prestatyn Town went back to the top of the league the cameras actually didn't show them. A inquiry is now going to take place into this unacceptable omission.

The live match was a strange choice but maybe indicated the belief that The Academy are on their way to the title again as the live match was their win at a hopeless Real Madrid side. Always likely to be an away win, no reason to show Real at all so surely The Academy are winning the league again ?

The battle of 7th v 6th saw Rhyl win 4-1 against Charscot and this match surely could have easily been replaced by Wascisco v Beeston ??

Likewise St Joseph's 0-0 draw with Longfield could easily have been replaced too.

Week 23

A little more variety this week as the cameras covered three divisions.

The live match saw Requiem Shark, runaway leaders of Division 2 thump second placed Zakreze F,C 5-1 to all but guarantee they are Champions.

The first highlighted match saw the top of the table clash in Division One as Spondon lost for the first time since a week 1 loss as Wascisco continued their excellent form beating a third top 4 side in the last 3 games.

The final match was the local derby between Shaolin and Long Eaton Archers. The 0-0 draw seriously hurts both team's title chances.

Week 24

As usual the cameras were focused on the cup this week and the only let down was the highest scoring game didn't make it onto the television.

The live match was the all top flight meeting of leaders St Joseph's BC and A.F.C Binfield with the visitors losing 1-0 to BC as they still chase a double.

Highlights saw Charscot beat Carnbroe Rovers 1-0 and Division One leaders Spondon Phoenix beating top three side Shaolin on their own patch after a penalty shootout.

Week 25

A truly ridiculous selection for the live match this week as the tv cameras showed Charscot live for the fist time this season, as they lost 1-0 to A.F.C Binfield in a match that was meaningless to both sides (and everyone else !).

Meanwhile the top two met and were shunned to a highlights spot as Prestatyn Town returned to the top after thrashing St Joseph's BC despite having injuries defensively.

The third match saw a thrilling 2-2 draw played out between Division 1 leaders Spondon Phoenix and visiting third place side Beeston Athletic.
