can you not just run the 2nd leg via the new program? (extra time)

Could do but frankly that was not how the contest started out (or how it will be next season) so do not want to go that route...if neither leg had been played then maybe but at least we have a result from one leg to go by...particularly as the home team lost...

fair do's, just an idea so both teams could play both legs. i suppose the new programme would be different from the original friendly one so it would make for an uneven game.

I also think there are two other things to consdier here...if the friendly program is used for 1 game it should really be used for the whole comp in future...and that would result in some managers not being able to enter due to not being able to download/use the program and there is also the fact that at present there are 34 teams entered and with the friendlies system anyone can win...if we use the friendly program there are only a few teams that can win and as there is an entry fee a lot of managers would understandably see little point in entering...

And let's be honest...it is funny to see charscot losing to 3rd division teams isn't it

Glynn said he was going to tweak it up but then got distracted by the new friendlies program so you will still find the results being ridiculous and no team ever scoring more than three goals

..which for cup comps is probably just fine as it encourages the entries coming in

It is a relief...the deadline for next season is this friday so the draw should be up over the weekend...at present 34 entries which is a pain in terms of groups....

I am assuming that everyone has now entered who wants to which probably means I will have two groups of 5 teams...or withdraw two of my teams...time will tell

I have asked glynn to add the prize money as follows today - £1,012,500 to Comberton and £337,500 to Real Sociedad.
Could Mike and Jon confirm they have received their money this week..though bear in mind that it will not be listed on the breakdown so you both need to work the finances out to confirm or dent receiving it.

As for Super Cup number 2...we have 34 entries so myself and Nat are removing or third teams (wascisco and livi) to make things easier so the groups should be listed later today
