With one of the matches not having any bearing ion anything that match will be awarded with the other match being played next week to determine the draws prize (the awarded match involves a team that has already won the division and a team that cannot win any prize).

Quick heads up. As the forum came back online in plenty of time and more importantly the fixtures for this week have been known for nearly 2 weeks black marks will be awarded for failed matches.

There genuinely is no valid excuse for not having the games down as frankly even if ignoring all of the above everyone has to know their fixture for this week as it will obviously be the reverse of last week's !!!

Thanks everyone. One failed game as Dave gets the venue wrong again. Failure to get either leg of a 2 legged game played at the first attempt is automatic progression for the opponent as only one week is allocated per knock out round for catch up games as you never knowe when a 2 legged tie will go on due to multiple same leg draws so sorry Dave but Cove are out.

Just the one match now left for next week to play before the next round starts the week after.

Thanks Si. Was going to give it the rest of today for Steve to confirm what he did/didn't do but as he has commented on a cup for a day later than the WPL it is clear he isn't going to comment here so presumably he didn't have the game down so black mark to MTK.

Update re prizes -

With the prizes for the comp just two matches away from being claimed two of the teams due to win £ 250k for winning their groups are no longer under the same management as they were when they exited the comp (one is not even managed right now).

Consequently there is £ 500,000 surplus to be re-invested in prizes and this money is being re-directed to the most draws prize as that prize was £ 500,000 and is being shared by 3 teams so this in effect doubles their rewards, which is far more noticeable than say splitting it between the group winners for example.

Good luck to both sides in the final (well one more than the other obviously ) and thanks again to all who have taken part this season.

Congrats to Rivendell on winning the cup 4-2 on aggregate.

We have four late entries thanks to teams taking on new managers and have the most entrants we have ever had for the comp.

In fact we have so many I need to make changes to my spreadsheet to generate the fixtures so whilst the entrants, table and prize money allocation have all now been changed the extra fixtures will be up later today.
