With so many close groups and a chunk of fixtures to make up we have just two teams who are through to the next round so congrats to Abergarwed and Birstall on making it through with a game to spare.

On closer inspection we will be having just one week of catch up games next week as the remaining fixtures after that do not affect who goes into the next round. The remaining 3 games WILL be played as they affect other prizes but the second round will begin on week 10.

An exciting end to the groups as a number of teams blew it this week when in control of their group. Real Madrid, Prestatyn Town, Dutch Uncles and MTK Budapest all led their groups at the start of the day and ended up losing top spot. Real have the consolation of going through as a best runner-up, the other three sadly exit.

With catch up games next week we will determine who takes the third best runner-up spot and who wins Groups H, I and K.
