Ok, update is Dave's Seabourne side are back in. They actually had more points than some of the runner's up so in these extenuating circumstances it feels fair to bring them back after being in the group of death so to speak so I will pm Dave to make him aware and the fixtures will reflect that Seabourne are now playing Atletico.

I send my orders via google mail last night, they just werent received is the only reasonable explanation. Happy to provide proof

Orders not arriving at Glynn's are still a blackmark to the sending manager. Can happen to any of us and I know it isn't your fault but with "proof" of sending being easily "created" (I know you wouldn't do this but some would sadly) and more relevantly proof of sending is not proof of receipt with Glynn (who clearly hasn't received th e-mail as the processing is automated at his end so e-mail filters or similar have caused the issue).

The blackmark hopefully shouldn't be a big deal as I am sure both legs will get played fine anyway but the only proof that is relevant to awarding of blackmarks is the proof of what the orders said when it is clear the orders have been received (ie the html turns either say opponent didn't confirm or that the venue couldn't be agreed).

Always been that way and have yet to have a blackmark awarded for failure to arrive result in a match awarded (as generally it tends to happen both rarely and to the reliable managers weirdly) so I don't see any reason why you will end up punished ultimately

For the record the bit in bold is wrong. If Glynn had received them they would have been received as it is all automatic bar the misc orders section and there simply is no human error (ie Glyn) possible at his end for the actual basic orders at all, cannot happen.

The reasonable (and indeed only) explanation is simple. The e-mail filters at one or other end (be it google or glynn's end - more likely to be google on this occasion simply because if it were at Glynn's end there would be a lot of reports of orders not being done) have prevented delivery or reciept because of the content (specifically the text file which can cause false positives).

This happens quite frequently as a spam filter can pick up on just a word or part of a word and block an entire e-mail deeming it say offensive without any of us noticing (eg Scunthorpe United has caused issues to some spam filters for the hidden word...) and is a major reason (other than glynn wanting to do less work ) why SS2 will be all online and no text files etc
