Longfield win the sudden death play-off whilst Shaolin F.C progress after the leg failed a second time. With Prestatyn to blame for the first failure it means that if Prestatyn were to blame they lose the leg 3-0 and 6-2 on aggregate and if Shaolin are to blame then both teams have a black mark and a 0-0n draw is awarded and Shaolin progress 3-2 on aggregate.

So either way the same team progresses. I will officiallly award the game once clear who did what but the semi-final draw is up now.

Prestatyn are in a no win situation if Shaolin wanted to be naughty.

I know that won't be the case tho.

They were, but it applies all seasons and if a manager without a black mark wanted to take advantage they could, though I am confident no one ever has.

Thankfully managers are an honest bunch (have only found one actual liar in regards of cup comps in the wpl and he left the game years ago) so I am able to be confident nothing cynical/untoward happened.

Just a quick one.......

Does being the away side have any bearing in the 'friendlies' or is it absolutely equal chance irrespective of home/away status, its just that we also are the away team for the SF sudden death game as we were for the QF SD game

Makes no odds.

I literally tossed a coin so the fact any team was home or away before is meaningless (as aside from anything else it isn't exactly a long shot to be away twice)

Pointless asking who messed up their orders for the semi-final as it is the same manager for both sides and with the ability to manipulate a desired team progressing I never ask for who did what in the circumstances.

In other words please do a better job next week Mike T as you are delaying the comp now and with the possibility of draws delaying it even further can't say as I am impressed

Ok, still can't split Mike T's sides and as he had already offered for either to be removed due to missed games the following will happen.

Another sudden death game next week which is the reverse of this week's game so away goals will count double over the two "legs". If still tied (ie a 1-1 draw next week) then the team with the best group record will progress.
