Charscot have been superb of late with 6 wins in 7 (all comps) and the one loss to Ziaste. We travel to Rhyl who are directly below us in the league and we have 3 wins in our last 6 trips there and will be hoping to repeat last season's 3-1 win in this fixture. 3-1 to us.

Dep El face 3 relegation rivals in our next 4 games and the season will hinge on those results with realistically 7 points a minimum required. Away to Ziaste sadly looks like a draw at best, 1-1.

Wascisco have had a strange season but we find ourselves in an excellent position to promote but we face a big fortnight as we host second placed Beeston and then travel to leaders Spondon. 4 points would be great. Going to optimistically go for a 1-0 win although a draw is probably the best we can get.

Castle Rock's season will come down to beating the sides we simply should beat. This week is a perfect example as we host bottom side Kilmarnock. Anything less than a win and we are relegated (and deservedly so). 2-0 to us.

LEAGUE FIXTURES

PREMIER

Rhyl F.C ....v.... Charscot Wanderers
Balham Town ....v.... A.F.C Binfield
Real Madrid ....v.... The Academy
St Joseph's BC ....v.... Longfield K.L.F
Prestatyn Town ....v.... Broomhall Lions
Ziaste Nequeno ....v.... Dep El Celtico
The Northerners ....v.... Shaolin F.C
Long Eaton Archers ....v.... Vanbrugh Royals

PREVIEW
The title race gets murkier by the week as no one can pull out anything resembling a lead. This week the top five play sides in the bottom half and anyone in the top 5 not winning will probably consider this a week of failed objectives.
3 teams are on the same points at the top and leaders Prestatyn Town host Broomhall Lions (14th). The Lions have had some decent results of late and can easily play spoilers this week.
St Joseph's BC (2nd) host Longfield K.L.F (11th) and BC's ability to grind out close wins will probably be shown again.
Long Eaton Archers (4th) host Vanbrugh Royals, bottom and relegated as they show no signs of making a fight of it. This game may be a rout.
Shaolin (3rd) go to The Northerners (13th) who have struggled but are hoping to build on their win at Vanbrugh.
The Academy (5th) go to Real Madrid (12th), whose inability to win any games may cost them dear as they seem to be hoping to draw their way to survival.
Sixth goes to seventh as Charscot visit Rhyl. Form favours the visitors.
With the bottom six all facing top clubs this week it is an ideal time for Balham (10th) to beat visiting A.F.C Binfield (8th) and give themselves some much needed breathing space above the relegation battle.

DIV 1

Callie Athletic ....v.... Whitebrook Rangers
Southpool ....v.... Troon A.F.C
Dutch Uncles ....v.... Rivendell
Carnbroe Rovers ....v.... Los Santos Cosmos
Barton Blitz ....v.... Spondon Phoenix F.C.
Wascisco Red Sox ....v.... Beeston Athletic
Seabourne City ....v.... Colwyn Bay
Broomhall Tigers ....v.... The Academy Reserves

PREVIEW
Leaders Spondon are closing in on promotion and should move closer with a win at bottom side Barton Blitz.
Wascisco (3rd) host Beeston Athletic (2nd) in a battle of two form sides.
Colwyn Bay (4th) have to make the most of the two above facing each other and anything less than a win at 14th placed Seabourne City will be a failure.
Broomhall Tigers (5th) should have too much for The Academy Reserves (13th) whilst Carnbroe Rovers (5th) must beat 11th placed Los Santos Cosmos to stay in touch.
15th placed Troon will hope they can get something out of visiting Southpool (7th) who are looking a little adrift of a promotion challenge now, although it has still be an excellent season for the club.
Dutch Uncles (12th) are only 3 points from safety and won't want to continue their run of yo-yo'ing between the divisions. Hosting Rivendell they will leapfrog their opponents with a win but a loss would see Rivendell pulling away from trouble.

DIV 2

MTK Budapest ....v.... Requiem Shark
Zakreze F.C ....v.... Long Eaton Terriers
Avlon Villa ....v.... Space Cadets
Cookie United ....v.... Rapid Gentrification
Carnbroe United ....v.... Teesside Reds
Castle Rock Furies ....v.... Kilmarnock
Broomhall U23s ....v.... Ynysfawr Athletic
Sleaford Town ....v.... Academy Allstars

PREVIEW
A battle of the form sides as Champions-elect Requiem Shark close in on an excellent divisional title make the trip to MTK Budapest (14th) who have been superb in battling from double digits adrift of safety to just one point. A draw will possibly suit both sides with neither facing anyone quite as challenging as each other in the run-in based on recent form.
The remaining two promotion spots are a 3 horse race with 3 points splitting second to fourth.
Zakreze lead the chasing pack and will expect to beat Long Eaton Terriers (12th).
Ynysfawr Athletic trail second by a point and will be anticipating three points at Broomhall U23s (10th) who tend to win or lose, rarely draw.
Carnbroe United are in touch and hosting Teesside Reds (7th) who have had a very good season after promoting last season and will be a likely promotion challenger next season with the experience gained this season.
At the bottom it is the last chance for Castle Rock (15th) and Kilmarnock (16th) and a draw condemns both and a winner condemns the loser. The hosts should win but they have under-performed all season.
Sleaford Town (13th) need a result at home to 9th placed Academy Allstars and Cookie United (11th) need a win at home to Rapid Gentrification (8th).

DIV 3

Birstall United ....v.... Mancs F.C.
Bembridge F.C ....v.... Barton Hills United
Caglibari Calcio ....v.... Greenwich Mariners
Abergarwed Athletic ....v.... Gleadless United
Blackheath Tigers ....v.... Real Blades
Bank Vale United ....v.... British Sea Power
New Town A.F.C ....v.... Old Town Athletic
Bala Town F.C. ....v.... Tempest Pervade

PREVIEW
Abergarwed's superb win on week 21 at second placed Real Blades has opened up a 5 point gap and Athletic are looking likely, and worthy, Champions. Gleadless United (5th) visit and a home win looks likely.
Real Blades are still well placed for promotion and they have the perfect bounce back game as they visit 15th placed Blackheath Tigers.
Mancs have moved into the promotion spots and a win at Birstall United (8th) would show their intent.
Caglibari Calcio have done extremely well to even be a promotion candidate this deep into the season and they should sweep aside visiting Greenwich Mariners (11th) to keep the pressure on the top 3.

TWO TO WATCH

Division One - Wascisco Red Sox ....v.... Beeston Athletic

This battle of 3rd v 2nd could either derail one of the sides' season or make little difference as both look capable of promoting back to the top flight again regardless of the result this week. However with the number of promotion contenders starting to thin out a bit neither side will want to be the one to challenge this theory. Both have been excellent of later with Wascisco unbeaten in 7 with 5 wins and 2w draws whilst Beeston have 5 wins and 2 defeats in the same period. A derby match, these two tend to cancel each other out. 1-1.

Premier Division - Prestatyn Town ....v.... Broomhall Lions

Not the most obvious of matches but this fixture may have an enormous effect at both ends of the table. Town have been spluttering of late but with most of the top Prem sides spluttering just as much they find themselves back in top spot. Meanwhile Broomhall Lions may be in a relegation spot but they have shown a lot more fight the past couple of months and have every chance of surviving. Thrown in Dorrie's recent record against Mike W is very good and Prestatyn Town may be on the end of a shock result. 2-1 to the Lions

Vanbrugh = defeat

Rivendell face a tricky trip Dutch Uncles. Another draw looms.

Beeston face a local rivals Wascisco in a major top of the table clash. Hard to predict this game (Rich has gone for both a win and draw) but hopefully we can escape with a draw.

Rubbish from Charscot who give the impression they can get back in the title race and just as they do they lose 4-1. Not a thrashing on another day but today is what matters. Just thankful we beta Rhyl in the cup now. Actually only lost 1 point to top place on the week but we just can't quite get close enough to challenge.

Dep El get a much needed win in a thriller at Ziaste, winning 4-3. Keeps us in with a chance when a lot of strugglers have done well today.

In the big Division One match Wascisco are excellent, sweeping Beeston aside 4-2. Athletic are very fortunate it isn't a bigger thumping.

Castle Rock draw 1-1 with Kilmarnock. Not a fixture you can be dropping points in frankly. Relegation looms.

A 1-0 defeat home to the leaders and a shambolic Monday for me this week.

Another 2-1 win for Spondon, four wins on the trot sets us up nicely for next weeks battle against the Sox, a team with the best attacking record in the league against the team with the best defensive record!! 0-0 or 4-4 then

A decent effort from Whitebrook today but we fail to score. Typical after last weeks cracking win over the Tigers our consistency bites us again.

Looking like a Mid table season so will be looking to Swap a couple of things around so squad is ready for a stronger push next season.

Vanbrugh managed to surprise everyone, especially me, by winning away at Long Eaton :D Perhaps there's hope for us yet

Rivendell don't manage a shot on target so can't expect to win; a loss was no surprise.

Beeston are totally outplayed and deservedly thumped by Wascisco.

One win each in the New Town/Old Town battle this season. End of the season can't really come soon enough, New Town have massively failed to deliver this year, see what next season brings....
