Charscot have hit some form, winning their last 3 matches without conceding a goal (2 league 1 cup) and we now face a tricky home match against Ziaste, who have already beaten us this season. Should be able to win this with our current form, 2-0 to Charscot.

Dep El are in big trouble in 15th and we simply have to beat Real Madrid and pull them back into the relegation battle. We actually have a very good record against them but we lack the forms and a 2-1 win for Real sadly seems likely.

Wascisco have had a very up and down season, going top early on, crashing to Mid table and now back into the top 3. We travel to Whitebrook who have won their last two league matches and are only 4 points behind us. Hoping our scoring form will get us home, 2-1 to us.

Castle Rock were lucky to play the Terriers before Baz could really do anything with them. No such luck this week as we go to Champions-elect Requiem Shark. They haven't lost a league match and have only drawn 2 so losing by as few as possible would be a good result for us !! Expecting a 5-0 thrashing sadly.

SUPER CUP FIXTURE

FINAL - FIRST LEG

LONG EATON ARCHERS ...... .....v..... ...... BARTON BLITZ

LEAGUE FIXTURES

PREMIER

Charscot Wanderers ....v.... Ziaste Nequeno
A.F.C Binfield ....v.... The Northerners
The Academy ....v.... Long Eaton Archers
Longfield K.L.F ....v.... Rhyl F.C
Broomhall Lions ....v.... Balham Town
Dep El Celtico ....v.... Real Madrid
Shaolin F.C ....v.... St Joseph's BC
Vanbrugh Royals ....v.... Prestatyn Town

PREVIEW
Long Eaton Archers, surprise leaders are week by week looking increasingly likely to win the league as they eke out a lead at the top. The ultimate test this week, away to Champions The Academy (5th) who cannot afford to lose this match and even a draw may not be enough to keep in the title hunt.
Second and third have both lost ground by losing 2-0 to Charscot in the past fortnight and both need to get back to winning frequently with the Archers already 3 points clear. St Joseph's (2nd) face a hard match at Shaolin (4th) whilst Prestatyn Town face a less scary trip to Vanbrugh (16th) although Guy has been known to frequently beat Mike W's sides so this may be trickier than expected.
Dep El (15th) host Real Madrid (10th) with a home win bringing Madrid into the relegation battle whilst Broomhall Lions (14th) can likewise drag Balham (12th) into the bottom four with a win, possibly bottom 2.
The Northerners (13th) go to A.F.C Binfield (8th) and simply have to get something from this match with so many teams around them playing each other.

DIV 1

Whitebrook Rangers ....v.... Wascisco Red Sox
Troon A.F.C ....v.... Seabourne City
Rivendell ....v.... Broomhall Tigers
Los Santos Cosmos ....v.... Callie Athletic
Spondon Phoenix F.C. ....v.... Southpool
Beeston Athletic ....v.... Dutch Uncles
Colwyn Bay ....v.... Carnbroe Rovers
The Academy Reserves ....v.... Barton Blitz

PREVIEW
Spondon remain top and visiting Southpool (5th) can move to within four points of the hosts with a win.
Colwyn Bay (2nd) are looking like they may be caught as results have faltered recently and sixth placed Carnbroe Rovers will feel they can get themselves in the mix with an away win.
Wascisco (3rd) have swung form short winning runs to longer losing runs that have seen them yo-yo. With four games against the best sides after this week they simply have to win at Whitebrook Rangers (8th) as in a month the Sox could easily be in the bottom half of the table.
Despite being fourth Beeston Athletic have been disappointing as rather than cruise away at the top of Division One they have floated around the periphery of the promotion race. Dutch Uncles (9th) visit Athletic and look like avoiding their run of promotions followed by relegations.
Broomhall Tigers (7th) are also in contention for promotion and visit draw specialists Rivendell (9 draws and 11th place).
At the bottom Barton Blitz look doomed, 8 points from safety, and travel to The Academy Reserves (12th) whose own slim relegation chances will ease a little with a home win.
The remaining two relegation spots look to be a 3 way battle. Troon (15th) host Seabourne (14th) in a match that could prove pivotal to both team's chances.
Los Santos Cosmos (13th) will drop into the bottom three if the preceding match has a winner unless Cosmos beat visiting Callie Athletic (10th), a distinct possibility as Athletic have been in freefall of late.

DIV 2

Requiem Shark ....v.... Castle Rock Furies
Long Eaton Terriers ....v.... Broomhall U23s
Space Cadets ....v.... Sleaford Town
Rapid Gentrification ....v.... MTK Budapest
Teesside Reds ....v.... Zakreze F.C
Kilmarnock ....v.... Avlon Villa
Ynysfawr Athletic ....v.... Cookie United
Academy Allstars ....v.... Carnbroe United

PREVIEW
Leaders Requiem Shark should brush aside struggling visitors Castle Rock Furies (11th).
Zakreze (2nd) have only lost one game this season and should maintain this record visiting 7th placed Teesside Reds.
Ynysfawr Athletic will stay clear in third as they host Cookie United (15th).
Carnbroe United (4th) need to make up ground after losing to the Sharks and Academy Allstars (9th) won't make it easy.
Space Cadets have not reached their usual heights this season and must beat Sleaford Town (12th) at home to maintain even the impression of being in the promotion hunt.
Rapid Gentrification also are in must win mode and hosting MTK Budapest (16th) they will be expected to take the 3 points.
Baz has had no time to do much with Long Eaton Terriers (14th) but has to find a way to pick up points quickly, starting with the visit of Broomhall U23s (8th) who don;t do draws (one all season).
Kilmarnock (13th) host Avlon Villa (10th) and the visitors will be anticipating an away win.

DIV 3

Mancs F.C. ....v.... Bank Vale United
Barton Hills United ....v.... New Town A.F.C
Greenwich Mariners ....v.... Bala Town F.C.
Gleadless United ....v.... Birstall United
Real Blades ....v.... Bembridge F.C
British Sea Power ....v.... Caglibari Calcio
Old Town Athletic ....v.... Abergarwed Athletic
Tempest Pervade ....v.... Blackheath Tigers

PREVIEW
What looked like a five team race for promotion is beginning to look like a four horse race as both Bala and Mancs have failed to impress of late whilst Gleadless have pulled themselves into the reckoning.
Mancs (6th) and Bala (5th) both should win as 11th placed Bank Vale visit the Mancs and Bala travel to eighth placed Greenwich Mariners.
Either side drops points they will become outsiders for promotion.
Caglibari (2nd) continue to impress with a squad of nobodies and visit British Sea Power (12th), under new management and Mike W will want to get something from this match if only to help his under performing Bala side.
Gleadless (4th) have been excellent of late and if they beat visiting Birstall United (7th) they will feel confident of staying in the fight.
Real Blades (3rd) should have too much for tenth placed Bembridge.
Abergarwed have looked like the class of the division and will expect to beat Old Town Athletic (14th) who are reeling from a thumping last week.

TWO TO WATCH

PREMIER DIVISION - The Academy ....v.... Long Eaton Archers

This match could be the one that goes a long way to determining just how good a season either side is going to have. The Archers are a win clear at the top and The Academy are fifth and seven points adrift of the hosts. If Long Eaton win then it looks likely The Academy will not be successfully defending their crown this season. The Academy are more than capable of putting in a long winning run to grab another title and the Archers have lost more games than anyone else in the top four, they just don't draw often. A draw will do much to boost The Archers credentials whilst hurting The Academy's chances. 2-2 draw.

PREMIER DIVISION - Shaolin F.C ....v.... St Joseph's BC

Usually at least one game comes from outside the top flight but this fixture along with the one above is going to shape the chances of multiple sides in the fight for the league. Shaolin (4th) have been on the fringes this season without actually getting too close to the top but a win at home to second placed St Joseph's BC would see Shaolin leapfrog BC and go at least third, possibly second. St Joseph's have been in the top 3 for most of the season and seem to be many people's prediction for Champions this season as things stand. BC to win 2-1

Vanbrugh host Prestatyn this week probably needing to win at least 8 of their last 13 games to stay up. A 3-0 win this week will be a good place to start; sadly I think the best we can hope for is to be one of the TV games.

Rivendell host an out of form Broomhall Tigers and would hope to secure back to back wins for the first time this season.

Beeston's inconsistency is annoying but hopefully it'll continue this week with a home win against Dutch Uncles.

If Southpool do have promotion aspirations, they must win away at Spondon
A draw would be a great result to be honest

Southpool have hit some form of late so a point against them wouldn't be a bad result for is either 8)

Difficult home game ahead for us this week with Wascisco Red Sox the visitors. Would take a point now if offered but we have ground to make up on top 3 so a win would be great.

What a pile of crap. Charscot absolutely tear apart Ziaste but we somehow manage to lose 3-1. Could have been 8-0 to us, perfect game as proof of the meaningless of the breakdown as ultimately Ziaste's tactics were way more efficient and so a deserved away win despite only 32% of play.

Dep El get an enormous 1-0 win over Real Madrid. Scorer of the winner is a player Mike could have had 2 weeks ago but he said he wouldn't score goals. Muppet

Wascisco get a good 3-1 win at Whitebrook to complete an excellent month with 5 wins and a draw (including the cup).

Castle Rock get the expected thumping at Requiem.

On to the second leg of the Super Cup final after a 1-1 draw this week.

Whitebrook had the edge on the game but didn't make it count.

Feels like season is over now and we are just collecting points to stay safe  (I know a long way to go and a winning run could change things but just not feeling we are capable at the moment, cue the players to prove me wrong).

Vanbrugh's season carries on in the same fashion, totally useless. As Rich said, we're so bad we can't even manage a "banker" TV game.

Rivendell limply surrender their 10 game unbeaten run.

Thankfully, Beeston's inconsistency continues with a win (no prizes for guessing my predictions for next week!).

Decent win for Blades, keeping them in the top 3. Gleadless mounting a bit of a challenge. See how next week goes...

Not the best of weeks but two important wins Academy over Long Eaton means were still 4 points off top and we need a good run in, unfortunately thats not what usually happens with the academy, usually start strong and tail off!. Sleaford town was the other important win after taking over and the culling just need to survive the season and build, expect to be in the relegation battle

That "usually" stopped happening the past two seasons when you won the title. Think it is the hat trick frankly !
