After one point from 3 games an excellent win over St Joseph's BC at least gives us hope we can stop ourselves dropping further down the league. Next up we travel to Prestatyn, surprise challengers for the title who have only lost once all season. We have won 2 and lost 2 in the last four visits to Town and our away form is poor so a 2-1 loss for us.

Dep El are in big trouble and we cannot afford to lose to Balham who are two places above us in 13th. A two goal win will take us above them but at this point with forms lacking a point is all we can hope for and I have my doubts we will get that but I will go for a 1-1.

Wascisco have gone from flying early on to crashing before bouncing back with 7 points from the last 9 available. We host Troon, who have found their form with back to back wins just in time to save themselves it seems. A point looks likely, 2-2.

Ziaste got an excellent result on week 17 and we face another star team as we host A.F.C Binfield. A loss seems likely for us, 2-0 to the visitors.

Castle Rock, like Dep El, have an enormous match as we too face the team in 13th place whilst sitting in the relegation area. Long Eaton Terriers visit us and if we beat them we leapfrog them and return to a position of safety. We simply have to beat the teams around us if we want to stay up. 2-0 to us.

SUPER CUP FIXTURES

SHAOLIN F.C (2)...... .....v..... ...... BARTON BLITZ (2)

LEAGUE FIXTURES

PREMIER

Prestatyn Town ....v.... Charscot Wanderers
Ziaste Nequeno ....v.... A.F.C Binfield
The Northerners ....v.... The Academy
Long Eaton Archers ....v.... Longfield K.L.F
Rhyl F.C ....v.... Broomhall Lions
Balham Town ....v.... Dep El Celtico
Real Madrid ....v.... Shaolin F.C
St Joseph's BC ....v.... Vanbrugh Royals

PREVIEW
The top of the league continues to be a surprise as the two likeliest challengers based on recent seasons, St Joseph's and The Academy, aren't looking at their best.
Meanwhile surprise sides like Long Eaton Archers and Prestatyn Town have shown they can keep in the hunt.
Leaders Long Eaton host Longfield , and both sides will be looking to rebound off of shocking results on week 17 as the Archers got trounced by Broomhall Lions 5-1 and Longfield made a shocking exit from the cup at home to Teesside of Division 2. Home advantage will be a big boost for the Archers but KLF have shown they can win when least expected too and the chasing pack may be happy at the final whistle.
Prestatyn Town are hot on their heels in second place and welcome Charscot (6th) to their ground. The visitors have won two of their last four visits here but have only one away league win so a Town win seems likely.
St Joseph's need to return to winning ways and hosting the bottom side Vanbrugh is as good a fixture as they could want. Anything less than 3 points for BC and they could see the gap grow dangerously large.
Shaolin (4th) travel to Real Madrid (9th) who have finally woken up and started winning again. These two managers often draw with each other and both sides may consider a draw a decent point.
The Academy (5th), reigning Champions haven't performed at their usual level this season and it is beginning to feel like they won't be making it a hattrick of titles. If they can't win at The Northerners (12th) that may end their league season in terms of a title chase.
Broomhall Lions (14th) have been awful against their nearest rivals this season but have shown that they can play far better, as evidenced by their outstanding 5-1 win over the Archers last week. A tirp to seventh placed RThyl will be a hard match and any points for the Lions will show they have what it takes to get out of the relegation spots.
Battle of the strugglers is Balham (13th) v Dep El El (15th). Neither is showing much consistency of late in a match that could go either way.

DIV 1

Barton Blitz ....v.... Whitebrook Rangers
Wascisco Red Sox ....v.... Troon A.F.C
Seabourne City ....v.... Rivendell
Broomhall Tigers ....v.... Los Santos Cosmos
Callie Athletic ....v.... Spondon Phoenix F.C.
Southpool ....v.... Beeston Athletic
Dutch Uncles ....v.... Colwyn Bay
Carnbroe Rovers ....v.... The Academy Reserves

PREVIEW
Spondon continue to lead and visit Callie Athletic (7th) who show flashes of being a promotion contender in between awful periods of mediocrity.
Colwyn Bay will be looking to keep pace with the leaders as they travel to Dutch Uncles (9th) with the Bay having just suffered their second defeat in the league this season.
Beeston haven't have the consistency they would like but they are still very much in the hunt to repeat their past division winning exploits and they go to Southpool (7th) who have shown with wins against the likes of Colwyn that they can beat anyone on their day as they make an excellent job of Division One after promotion last season.
Two teams finding form face off as Wascisco (4th) host Troon (14th). Troon were certainly expected to be fighting for promotion this seaosn and whilst that dream is over they look like they can at least get themselves safe in the coming weeks.
Broomhall Tigers (5th) should keep pace as the host struggling Los Santos Cosmos (15th).
Barton Blitz (16th) are beginning to look doomed and Whitebrook Rangers (10th) can dispel and nagging relegation worries of their own with a win.
Two sides struggling to stay up meet as Seabourne City (13th) host Rivendell (12th). Rivendell have a knack of getting results when really needed and a win will give them a six point cushion to City.

DIV 2

Carnbroe United ....v.... Requiem Shark
Castle Rock Furies ....v.... Long Eaton Terriers
Broomhall U23s ....v.... Space Cadets
Sleaford Town ....v.... Rapid Gentrification
MTK Budapest ....v.... Teesside Reds
Zakreze F.C ....v.... Kilmarnock
Avlon Villa ....v.... Ynysfawr Athletic
Cookie United ....v.... Academy Allstars

PREVIEW
Requiem Shark have proven a class apart and will win the division in style. A tricky game at Carnbroe United (4th) but with the Sharks already 15 points clear of the hosts they will no doubt get an other win to cement their position.
Most seasons Zakreze's excellent season so far would see them top and clear but they are having to settle for second place. They are looking sure to promote and will get another 3 points hosting Kilmarnock (12th).
The real battle is for third and Ynysfawr Athletic are just holding on by a point but will find it hard at Avlon Villa (9th) who tend to provide a surprise result or two.
Space Cadets (5th) have recaptured their form and finally stopped conceding at a high level of late and should have too much going forward for Broomhall U23s (10th).
Teesside Reds and Rapid Gentrification are the best of the rest but look to have lost too many matches to ultimately grab third place. Teesside (6th) may be visiting bottom side MTK Budapest but after MTK got two wins on week 17 their confidence will be returning and a home win to give MTK further hope of survival would not be a shock.
Rapid for their part should win at Sleaford Town (11th) under new management.
Cookie United (15th) host Academy Allstars (8th) and may find the visitors too strong to stop.

DIV 3

Blackheath Tigers ....v.... Mancs F.C.
Bank Vale United ....v.... Barton Hills United
New Town A.F.C ....v.... Greenwich Mariners
Bala Town F.C. ....v.... Gleadless United
Birstall United ....v.... Real Blades
Bembridge F.C ....v.... British Sea Power
Caglibari Calcio ....v.... Old Town Athletic
Abergarwed Athletic ....v.... Tempest Pervade

PREVIEW
In a division where 5 teams are fighting for the top 3 spots there are still surprises happening that have changed the look of the table in recent weeks as Bala, expected to win the division, have faltered and dropped to fourth and will find the visit oif Gleadless United (6th and one point behind Town) far more challenging than they would have considered a mere few weeks ago.
Mancs (5th) have also lost a little ground but will expect to win at Blackheath Tigers (15th).
Meanwhile the top 3 have a 3 point gap on the chasing pack and leaders Abergarwed are increasingly looking like the division winners and at home to Tempest (16th and rubbish) won't trouble them in the slightest.
Real Blades (2nd) have had an excellent run of late to put themselves in position to escape at the first attempt and they should win at hosts Birstall United (7th).
Caglibari Calcio are back in third place despite a squad nowhere near promotion quality. They deserve all credit though as they refuse to give up and after a patch where it looked like they would drop away they have returned to form and will hope to beat visiting Old Town (14th).

TWO TO WATCH

Division Two - Carnbroe United ....v.... Requiem Shark

Runaway leaders Requiem Shark have been simply excellent this season and will win Division Two. Hosts Carnbroe United have found their form of late to get up to fourth place in a division where only third place looks up for grabs at this point. United need the result far more than the Sharks and this could lead to a surprise first defeat of the season for the leaders. 2-0 to Carnbroe United

Premier Division - Balham Town ....v.... Dep El Celtico

Before the season started neither of these two sides would have expected to be fighting a relegation battle at this stage but here we are watching 13th host 15th on week 18. Balham appear to be victims of a season that has seen surprise sides taking a position near the top that they would normally hope to be contending for. Dep El have been victims of a slow starting attack that forced the manager into making major attacking changes whilst the defence has yet to find any form as the counsellor appears to only like two players. Dep El would leapfrog Town with a 2 goal win, Town can give themselves a decent amount of breathing space with a win. The latter makes more sense. Town to win 2-0

Vanbrugh's woeful season is expected to continue with another loss at St Joseph's BC. However, I'm still hopeful that we can spring a surprise, go on a winning run and stay up

Rivendell look to keep their long unbeaten league run going, preferably with a win rather than another draw. But, I fear that a another draw looms away at relegation rivals Seabourne.

Now is the time for Beeston to find consistency and take a win away at Southpool. A draw maybe the best they can hope for.

MTK Budapest entertain Teeside Reds and will feel a lot more confident having gained two wins last week.

Southpool finally stopped the rot with a win in the league last week, but were tanked in the cup so we will be happy with a draw against Beeston :|

Huge win for us last week against Carnbroe and this week we travel to bottom of the table Barton Blitz.

Have a horrible feeling we will slip up here but fingers crossed that prediction will be wrong.

Excellent win for Charscot as we go to Prestatyn Town and beta them 2-0 for only their second league loss of the season.

Dep El get a good point at fellow strugglers Balham but we need to start winning.

Wascisco get a decent 3-0 win over Troon to end their recent revival and move ourselves back into the top 3.

Ziaste lose at home to A.F.C Binfield 1-0 in a game with few chances.

Castle get an enormous win over Long Eaton Terriers 2-0. Needed that to move out of the bottom 3 and make the most of the current squad as Baz has just got them this past week.

Mike T loses at home in the Super Cup to Woody preventing Mike from having both finalists.

KLF are well beaten 3-1 at Long Eaton. We need to get more wins on the board to avoid being dragged into the relegation fight

Hard fought win in the end as thankfully my horrible feeling proved wrong.

My new look strikeforce seem to be doing the job as things stand and long may that continue.

Vanbrugh's awful season continues. Can we end the season now to save time!!

Rivendell get an excellent win at Seabourne.

Beeston's inconsistency continues with a deserved loss at Southpool.

LSC get their first away win of the season.
This season is looking very similar to last season where at week 15 we look like relegation certainties and manage to clamber out. Maybe we can do it again though it is going to be difficult.

Dutch Uncles get a respectable home draw with Colwyn Bay.

Rapid get their third successive league win after an ambling start to the season.
