Charscot are looking like any success will only come in the cup, and that will probably end in a couple of weeks. We go to Shaolin who are directly above us. We have played there 21 times and only lost 3 times so clearly a lucky ground for us. That said, it took 14 trips for us to lose to them so all the defeats are comparatively recent and with Shaolin playing well generally this will be a hard game.

Both sides need to bounce back from a bad week 14 and a 1-1 draw will help neither of us.

Dep El's player forms are still a long way short of where they need to be but with one loss in our last five we are at least trying to get out of the relegation fight. We travel to Longfield K.L.F who are 4 points away from the bottom 3 so a win for us owuld drag them into the fight for survival. However, I expect Longfield to win 2-0 with forms proving the difference.

Wascisco are clearly going through a season of Mid table mediocrity it seems and third placed Broomhall Tigers should come to our ground and beat us 2-0.

Ziaste have had a decent season so far but are still very much in relegation danger with 4 points from the last 6 games (all draws). We host Long Eaton Archers who have 3 losses in their last 7 but still are only two points off of the top of the table. They only lose when they don't score so a clean sheet would be enormous for us. Sadly the best we can get is a 1-1.

Castle Rock have the opportunity to put the abysmal start to the season in the rear mirror as we host Sleaford Town who are directly above us. Need the win with a number of hard games directly after this fixture. 2-0 to us.

SUPER CUP FIXTURES

SPACE CADETS (2)...... .....v..... ...... LONG EATON ARCHERS (2)
ACADEMY ALLSTARS (0)...... .....v..... ...... SHAOLIN F.C (1)

LEAGUE FIXTURES

PREMIER

Balham Town ....v.... St Joseph's BC
Ziaste Nequeno ....v.... Long Eaton Archers
Shaolin F.C ....v.... Charscot Wanderers
The Academy ....v.... Broomhall Lions
Real Madrid ....v.... Prestatyn Town
The Northerners ....v.... Rhyl F.C
Vanbrugh Royals ....v.... A.F.C Binfield
Longfield K.L.F ....v.... Dep El Celtico

PREVIEW
St Joseph's BC have taken over top spot and their biggest challenge already feels like it will come from reigning Champions The Academy, even though the latter is fourth and six points behind.
St Joseph's have a tricky trip to Balham Town (11th). Balham have had a poor season by their standards but are capable of beating anyone on their day although a 1-0 away win seems likely.
Long Eaton Archers and Prestatyn Town are higher than all bar their own managers would have expected this season but both seem to be starting to lose their consistency. Second placed Archers go to Ziaste
Nequeno (10th) and a draw would be the usual result but Long Eaton may have too much for the hosts.
Prestatyn Town (3rd) have dropped off the pace and simply have to beat Real Madrid (12th) on the road. Real, fresh off of losing to Rhyl will not want another defeat to a team managed by the same manager.
The Academy (4th) are moving into position to make top spot their own and few would argue against them making it a hat trick of titles at present, even with 6 points to make up on top spot. They should sweep aside visiting Broomhall Lions (15th).
The title challenge doesn't look like extending past the current top four with the bottom of the division providing most of the intrigue. All the bottom 8 look vulnerable and Vanbrugh Royals, adrift by three points, have shown in recent
weeks that they can string a run of unbeaten games together and they will need to start that run hosting an unpredictable A.F.C Binfield (8th) side.
The Northerners (14th) have once again got dragged into another relegation fight and sooner or later their luck may well run out. They host Rhyl (7th) who will anticipate an away win.

DIV 1

Southpool ....v.... Carnbroe Rovers
Wascisco Red Sox ....v.... Broomhall Tigers
Colwyn Bay ....v.... Whitebrook Rangers
Rivendell ....v.... Spondon Phoenix F.C.
Dutch Uncles ....v.... Barton Blitz
Seabourne City ....v.... Callie Athletic
The Academy Reserves ....v.... Troon A.F.C
Los Santos Cosmos ....v.... Beeston Athletic

PREVIEW
The promotion chase looks to be between the top 7 whilst the bottom four fight to stay up.
Spondon Phoenix lead Colwyn Bay on goal difference and both face Mid table sides this week. Spondon going to Rivendell (11th) and Colwyn hosting Whitebrook Rangers (9th). Both should be claiming 3 points this week.
Broomhall Tigers (3rd) go to Wascisco Red Sox (8th). The hosts seem to be stuck in limbo this season and the Tigers should keep pace with the top two.
Callie Athletic (4th) have quietly gone about their business with just two defeats so far after a few seasons of struggling. They are at 14th placed Seabourne City, who are having a shocking season, even by their usual under performing ways.
Carnbroe Rovers (5th) have yet to draw a game and they visit Southpool (7th), a hard opponent to pick. This could be Rovers first draw of the season.
Sixth-placed Beeston Athletic travel to 15th placed Troon, who will be looking to extend their unbeaten run to 3 games.
At the bottom this is a big week for Dutch Uncles (12th) and Barton (16th). Barton are getting increasingly desperate for a win before they become completely detached at the bottom. Dutch Uncles have had a solid start but too many draws has meant the threat of relegating still looms over the side that has bounced between this division and Division 2 seven consecutive times.

DIV 2

Zakreze F.C ....v.... Cookie United
Castle Rock Furies ....v.... Sleaford Town
Ynysfawr Athletic ....v.... Requiem Shark
Space Cadets ....v.... Teesside Reds
Avlon Villa ....v.... Carnbroe United
Broomhall U23s ....v.... MTK Budapest
Academy Allstars ....v.... Long Eaton Terriers
Rapid Gentrification ....v.... Kilmarnock

PREVIEW
This division is already looking like the promotion spots may be taken as the top 3 have a two win gap on fourth and none of the chasing pack appear to have the consistency of results to mount a challenge.
Eight points clear of second, Requiem Shark have one hand on the title already and if they win at second placed Ynysfawr Athletic this week the causal observer will declare them Champions.
Zakreze (3rd) should beat struggling Cookie United (15th) at home.
Fourth placed Academy Allstars have had a good first season under new management and will expect another win as 14th placed Long Eaton Terriers come to town.
Teesside Reds (5th) have yet to draw and they host Space Cadets (7th) who have found their season crumble due to a defence that can't stop anyone.
Carnbroe United (6th) have been another solid side without setting the world alight and they should take 3 points from hosts Avlon Villa (10th) who are looking like a side needing another season of experience before mounting a promotion challenge.
Broomhall U23s (8th) don't do draws often (1 so far) and that shouldn't be a concern as MTK Budapest (bottom and losing ground) are their visiting opponents.
Kilmarnock (13th) have to get something at Rapid Gentrification (9th) with the two teams above them, Castle Rock (12th) and Sleaford Town (11th), meeting at Castle.

DIV 3

Bembridge F.C ....v.... Abergarwed Athletic
Bank Vale United ....v.... Bala Town F.C.
Old Town Athletic ....v.... Mancs F.C.
Greenwich Mariners ....v.... Real Blades
Caglibari Calcio ....v.... Blackheath Tigers
New Town A.F.C ....v.... Birstall United
Tempest Pervade ....v.... Barton Hills United
Gleadless United ....v.... British Sea Power

PREVIEW
Increasingly the top 3 look to be a class apart from the rest and this looks like another week where they get to build their lead further.
Top side Abergarwed travel to 11th placed Bembridge for a seemingly simple win. Bala have taken their time to get into the top two but now they are there they will look to stay and they go to 12th placed Bank Vale United, who only got a new manager last week.
Real Blades (3rd) should have too much going forward as they go to ninth placed Greenwich Mariners, who have proven a hard team to break down this season.
Mancs (5th) aren't gaining any new fans as their games are devoid of goals at either end this season. They visit tenth placed Old Town, who have improved as the season has gone on.
Mancs are expected to overhaul Caglibari Calcio (4th) who are likely to stay top four for now with 15th placed Blackheath Tigers coming to town.
Gleadless (6th) will feel they can still gain promotion and a win at home to 13th placed British Sea Power should keep the hosts hopes alive.

TWO TO WATCH

Division Two - Ynysfawr Athletic ....v.... Requiem Shark

Few expected Requiem Shark to be title challengers this season in Division Two but here we are approaching halfway and the team has only dropped two points. Hosts Ynysfawr Athletic were expected to be a top 3 challenger and if Athletic have any hope of finishing higher than second they simply have to win this game and close the gap between the sides to 5 points. Ultimately come week 31 both sides should be celebrating regardless of this result. Requiem to win 1-0

Division One - Southpool ....v.... Carnbroe Rovers

These two were separated by two divisions a season ago but now both look to push for a promotion spot in an incredibly competitive Division One. Southpool have spluttered a little of late but they are still in a good position to challenge, just four points adrift of third place. A very good performance for a team newly promoted into the division. Carnbroe Rovers relegated last season and their chances of bouncing back look to be hurt by the decision to rely too often on a five man defence. Rovers have already lost 6 this season but with 7 wins and no draws they have kept in touch. That number of losses so early tends to catch up with a side and of the two the 'pool look the likelier challengers this season. Southpool to win 1-0.

Massive game for MTK as Rich said we are losing ground after two home defeats so lets see how we can do from the position we are in now.

as Rich says Spondon need to keep picking up the points (a rare unbeaten one since week 2 ) if they have any aspirations of going up, something i've not even been able to think about over the last few seasons as we've always been at the wrong end of the table & fighting to stay up!!

Vanbrugh are rubbish and going down. No more negativity. 3-0 home win for us this week.

Following last weeks excellent away win Rivendell host leaders Spondon. Undoubtedly we'll fail to capitalise and tamely slip to another defeat.

Beeston travel to strugglers Los Santos Cosmos this week and given our inconsistent performances of late we'll probably bounce back with a win.

After getting spanked on home turf last week, I expect a better showing this week although a tough away game at Colwyn Bay awaits!!!

Another pile of sh*te.

Charscot lose to a team we rarely lose to and the changes made had zero effect and I feel like I have a team of all bril duds frankly. Not sure I have nay faith in any of them right now.

Dep El draw with Longfield, decent away point which we will need if we want to survive.

Wascisco beat Broomhall Tigers 3-1. Excellent result as they are chasing promotion and we are doing little frankly.

Ziaste lose 2-0 to Long Eaton.

Castle Rock are disappointing, drawing 0-0 with Sleaford.

Both Super Cup matches played.

Spondon get another draw, need to remember how to win games, no shots on, so a draw was a good result on the road

Miserable Monday as defeat here and Opal.

Whitebrook were second best through out and the stats suggest we should of been on another hiding, but somehow we cling on and lose by just the one goal.

Really struggling to know what to do with the current crop of players as just can't seem to get the near the next step up let alone pushing for it. Might be a Swap post to see if we can change things a little.

Positivity cleared works for Vanbrugh as they get an excellent 2-0 win.

Rivendell get a get a good point in a dull 0-0 draw with Spondon.

Beeston's up and down form continues with a bounce back win at Los Santos Cosmos.
