Charscot have had nothing to play for in the league for a while now and we go to Dep El Celtico who are 13th and in need of a win after a four game unbeaten run ended on week 26. Dep El lost a midfielder to injury and they have one on loan from Charscot, who normally wouldn't be allowed to play but will be in the circumstances. Charscot usually win this fixture though and I have a feeling they will win 2-1 and push Dep El into the bottom 3.

Wascisco meanwhile have been brilliant of late and feel like they can beat anyone. We have won our last 6, have 10 wins in 12 (with 2 draws) and are scoring for fun this season. Promotion is probably one win away and we go to Dutch Uncles and I expect us to win, maybe another big one as we do better against the best sides so 4-1 to us.

Ziaste are edging close to safety and we go to Real Madrid knowing a win will realistically have us safe. We have a great record against Madrid and I would expect us to win this game normally but we arel ikely to suffer thanks to Real's mini run of 2 successive wins and we may lose 2-1.

Castle Rock are likely relegating and a trip to Avlon Villa is never easy. 2-0 to the hosts.

LEAGUE FIXTURES

PREMIER

Rhyl F.C ....v.... St Joseph's BC
Real Madrid ....v.... Ziaste Nequeno
Prestatyn Town ....v.... Long Eaton Archers
The Northerners ....v.... Balham Town
Dep El Celtico ....v.... Charscot Wanderers
Vanbrugh Royals ....v.... The Academy
A.F.C Binfield ....v.... Broomhall Lions
Longfield K.L.F ....v.... Shaolin F.C

RELEGATION
Vanbrugh Royals will relegate if they fail to win and Dep El and Real Madrid both win and Longfield and The Northerners avoid defeat

PREVIEW
The title no one seems to want to win sees the lead change almost every week lately and it may do again as leaders St Joseph's BC go to Rhyl (8th).
Mike W's Rhyl will help to slow down BC and allow his own Prestatyn Town to go back to the top by winning at home to Long Eaton Archers (6th).
Shaolin (3rd) did nothing to give the impression they can actually take top spot on week 26 and their long shot challenge may well end at Longfield K.L.F (10th) who are a win or two from likely safety from relegation.
With Vanbrugh likely to confirm their relegation this week all eyes are focused on the fight to avoid the other two relegation spots.
The big game is 14th placed Balham Town hosting The Northerners 3 points and places above them. Town will go above them with a win.
Broomhall Lions (15th) go to A.F.C Binfield (5th) and will hope to find AFCB on one of their inconsistent weeks as at their best they can thump anyone.
Dep El Celtico (13th) needed 10 points out of 12 to get out of the bottom 3 and after losing on week 26 will need to exploit Charscot's inconsistency if they want to pull away.
Real Madrid (12th) have given themselves a chance of survival with back to back wins and now they host jinx side Ziaste Nequeno (9th). The visitors need a win to probably be safe but may have to wait with momentum on the side of the hosts.

DIV 1

Callie Athletic ....v.... Carnbroe Rovers
Dutch Uncles ....v.... Wascisco Red Sox
Barton Blitz ....v.... Broomhall Tigers
Seabourne City ....v.... Southpool
Beeston Athletic ....v.... Whitebrook Rangers
The Academy Reserves ....v.... Rivendell
Troon A.F.C ....v.... Spondon Phoenix F.C.
Los Santos Cosmos ....v.... Colwyn Bay

RELEGATION
Barton Blitz will relegate if they fail to win or if The Academy Reserves win

PREVIEW
Wascisco are looking unstoppable and will expect to be all but promoted with a 7th consecutive win, this week at Dutch Uncles (11th) who have realistically avoided the yo-yo between divisions that had become the norm for them.
Spondon Phoenix will more than likely go up too and they need to win at Troon, 14th and fighting for their lives.
The battle for third spot has closed up and all 3 contenders have every chance.
Beeston (3rd) will be hopeful of a return to winning ways at home to Whitebrook (9th and with nothing to play for).
Colwyn Bay's challenge looked lost but a return to winning ways has them fourth and a point behind Beeston. A trip to Los Santos Cosmos (12th) will not be easy though.
Broomhall Tigers (5th) have the best of the fixtures this week as they visit bottom side Barton Blitz who are likely to be relegated this week.
Seabourne City (15th) are shockingly looking likely to join Barton in Division 2 and they simply have to beat visiting Southpool (8th) or face the uncomfortable truth that continuing to struggle each season often eventually ends in relegation.
The Academy Reserves (13th) will find visiting Rivendell (6th) a hard team to beat so a point may be a good result in their battle to stay up.

DIV 2

MTK Budapest ....v.... Cookie United
Avlon Villa ....v.... Castle Rock Furies
Carnbroe United ....v.... Sleaford Town
Broomhall U23s ....v.... Zakreze F.C
Kilmarnock ....v.... Requiem Shark
Academy Allstars ....v.... Space Cadets
Long Eaton Terriers ....v.... Teesside Reds
Rapid Gentrification ....v.... Ynysfawr Athletic

CHAMPIONS - Requiem SHark
PROMOTED - Requiem Shark

PREVIEW
Requiem Shark are just going through the motions with everything achieved already but they won't slow down and expect a large win at bottom side Kilmarnock.
Ynysfawr Athletic (2nd) go to Rapid Gentrification (8th) and will expect to stay second.
Zakreze (3rd) have a similar trip to a mid-table side as they go to Broomhall U23s (9th)
Carnbroe United are just a point behind and should beat relegation threatened visitors Sleaford Town (13th).
Teesside Reds are the long shot for promotion but are still in the battle and they too should win at Long Eaton Terriers (14th) to complete wins for all the top 5.
The relegation battle is likely 2 from 4 to join Kilmarnock with form side MTK Budapest and Academy Allstars unlikely to be caught by the inconsistent bottom five.
Castle Rock Furies have a fit squad to choose from for the first time all season but they have been so poor injuries are no excuse for their predicament. They have to win at Avlon Villa (7th) to have a hope of survival.
Cookie United (12th) will find it hard going to MTK Budapest even though MTK are only one place above them.

Div 3

Birstall United ....v.... Abergarwed Athletic
Caglibari Calcio ....v.... Bank Vale United
Blackheath Tigers ....v.... Bala Town F.C.
New Town A.F.C ....v.... Bembridge F.C
British Sea Power ....v.... Mancs F.C.
Tempest Pervade ....v.... Greenwich Mariners
Barton Hills United ....v.... Real Blades
Gleadless United ....v.... Old Town Athletic

PREVIEW
The race for promotion had a surprise with leaders Abergarwed Athletic losing to visitors New Town last week. However they should still promote and will expect to win at Birstall United (6th).
The battle for the divisional title will be between Athletic and Real Blades, who have had an excellent season and should be too strong for hosts Barton Hills (8th) as they close in on promotion and a possible cup double.
Mancs are looking strong in third and after keeping Gleadless (5th) away from the top 3 they will go to a in form British Sea Power (7th) who look a strong bet for the title next season.
Gleadless have lost a little ground and simply have to beat visiting Old Town Athletic (14th).
Caglibari (4th) are only 2 points off of the promotion places and a win at home to Bank Vale United (11th) will keep them very much involved.

TWO TO WATCH

Division Two - Troon A.F.C ....v.... Spondon Phoenix F.C.

An enormous match for both sides for contrasting reasons. Last season the hosts were chasing promotion and the visitors trying to stay in the division. This season the roles are reversed. Troon looked relegated a couple of months ago and have done very well to put them within 2 points of safety. Spondon meanwhile have dominated for much of the season but have found wins hard to come by in recent weeks. Spondon should still promote and may win the division but this may be a game they have to accept a point in. 1-1 draw

Premier Division - The Northerners ....v.... Balham Town

The relegation battle between these sides sees The Northerners, consistent strugglers in recent seasons, host surprise relegation candidate Balham Town, a side usually found in the top half. The Northerners have a 3 point advantage over Town but a Town win is guaranteed to see them leapfrog their opponents. The relegation battle seems destined to keep as many teams in danger as possible until the end of the season and a away win will do that to both of these sides. 2-0 to Balham.

Vanbrugh host The Academy and will be looking to complete the double over them. However, I expect their relegation to be confirmed.

Rivendell, whose season has effectively ended, travel to The Academy Reserves who are in a relegation battle. Nothing expected from this game as we start preparing for next season.

Three consecutive draws have left Beeston in a battle for the last promotion spot. A home game against Whitebrook will hopefully produce a sorely needed win.

As the week has passed I find myself in the strange situation of wanting Charscot to lose. Cannot remember the last time I wanted that !

getting near the business end of the season, & after being a cert for promotion a few games ago, one point from the last two games has mean't it's squeeky bum time, as we have to get back to winning ways & keep our noses in front of the rest of the pack :)

Whitebrook look to have secured Div One football next season just need to mathmatically confirm it now.

This week we are on the road and looking for a 3rd straight win. A tough game ahead against promotion chasing Beeston Athletic awaits.

Couple of players moving on this week as we make a few tweaks to first team ready for next season, though on the whole pretty happy with what we have here.

Got to be happy with this week's results overall.

Charscot get taken apart by Dep El 3-0 which would usually annoy me but with Dep El trying to stay up I will take it

Wascisco get their seventh successive win (and indeed it is 11 wins and 2 draws from our last 13) and are all but up. With our goal difference a point will realistically be enough. :D

Ziaste get a great result, winning 3-0 at Real Madrid to probably keep us up now whilst putting Real back into the bottom 3 where they belong

Castle Rock are the let down, as usual, but it is hard to win when you score two own goals in the same minute !!

Entertaining game as we complete the double over Beeston and grab a 4-3 win :D

If only we hadn't had the blip in middle we could of been right in the mix now. We could still catch up to 3rd but need help along the way I feel.

Heads down and push on.

Vanbrugh's relegation is finally confirmed. I'm just surprised it's taken this long.

Rivendell get a deserved 3-0 away win.

Beeston have gone of the boil in recent weeks but are still in the promotion race. Remarkably it was a second 4-3 defeat against Whitebrook; bookies would have given good odds on that!

That must be an all-time SS record for own goals!

I wonder if there has ever been 3 own goals in one game.

Seen a few 3 OG games. Can't recall seeing 2 in the same minute before though.
