No, if any team misses 3 games they are out, not any team gets 3 blackmarks.
The blackmarks are for determining results when the individual results are awarded due to failed matches (or the long shot for a team having every game down correctly but still missing 3 games - this simply doesn't apply to this group with all 3 managers concerned having messed up/missed a week).
It's a pain to do it that way but the alternative is the comp runs too long and future rounds always get missed by managers who get out of the habit of playing matches if they have to wait too long for others to catch up.
I know it isn't entirely fair but in the 18 previous seasons of the comp no team has been removed in this way as no other season has had the level of failure that is going on in that group right now.
If a team wasn't responsible for ANY failed matches then they would be given the benefit as beyond their control but once a manager messes up one game they are on the chopping block.
The one thing I would say at this point is that of the 3 managers involved Wayne is very reliable but was away for the start so his team should be ok for the remainder and if you and Chris can actually get the venue right (very silly error frankly

) then all the games will be played and no one can get the hump and find themselves removed from the comp (I would be far more concerned about some other managers who have a patchy record of doing games season in season out - you 3 are normally very good).
