Question for the two sides knocked out -

Would you like to have a 2 leg play-off for either the entire prize for losing semi-finalists (2 x £600k so £1.2mill winner take all), have the 2 leg game for a greater share (say winner gets £1mill, loser £200k or something similar) or just have £600k each ?

If you are both agreeable to either play-off options then please post here and it can be done. If you aren't both agreeable to this suggestion then the prize money of £600k each will be with your teams next monday.

I don't mind either way, just a thought (thanks to Woody who challenged myself for a 3rd place play off in another league's comp).

I am happy with a winner take all play off - let's see what Bo thinks.

Congrats to St John's United for winning the Super Cup this season and to Long Eaton Archers for taking the money in the winner take all third place decider.

St John's receive £ 7.2mill, Ziaste gain £ 3.6mill and Long Eaton take £ 1.2mill.

All prize money will be awarded next monday. Managers do not do anything, I will arrange the transfer of the funds. They will not be listed on the financial breakdown but will be there if you work out your funds from one week to the next.

St John's will also receive a "bril" youth player but he will be awarded on week 1 of next season to maximise training potential.

Thanks to everyone who took part this season in what turned into the biggest field of entries we have ever had. The comp will return for a SS-leading 12th season next season with entries being taken via the entry post posted on week 25.

I hope as many managers as possible will return to the comp for next season (and of course some new entries too with luck).

Future updates will be on the official topic for the comp which you are reading here.

Thanks to everyone who has entered. With three vacant sides still available at the time of writing in theory more teams can enter the comp. One would be ideal to make all groups 4 teams and after that enough entries will only be allowed if they make at least a 3 team group.

Whats the deal with the best runners up, when there is a 3 team and a 4 team league?

Is it just unlucky if you are in a 3 team league?

Sadly just unlucky.

Main reason why I try to get them filled out into 4 team groups of possible.

Upside is the odds of winning the group increase, downside is there is no chance of being a best runner up.
