This version of the game can be played free of charge.
The game is intuitively understandable to those that enjoy Soccer Star-in many ways it is very similar though there are some differences.
Currently there are a range of unmanaged teams each with different challenges and most have healthy bank balances i.e. £30 million plus.
If you are looking for a specific type of challenge then I can advise (send me a private message).
If you would like to try it out cut and paste onto the following link:

Sign-in and there is a drop-down menu on the right side of the screen of ‘unmanaged teams’. You can scroll through and look at all of the teams. If you want to manage a particular team then e-mail Glynn and let him know which side and give him your username. Glynn will then assign it to you promptly.
If you have any issues with the sign-in then just e-mail Glynn and he will set you up with a username & password:
glynn5@soccerstar.org.ukFrequently asked questions from new SS2 managers:
When are the matchdays? There are two turns per week both at 8pm on Thursday and Sunday.
How is Soccer Star 2 different? There are many similarities and some differences. For example there are two cup competitions, a reserve league and additionally a youth team cup.
Player ratings i.e. abysmal to brilliant remain though there is also a rare ‘world class’ rating. Player skills are also the same i.e. control, tackling, passing, heading, shooting, speed and strength.
There are also some new options including an under 16 trainer & scout.
Transfers between clubs has been replaced with a weekly auction market with an additional 5 new players from the SLFA.
Stadiums can also be rebuilt and facilities can be upgraded.
Is there a rulebook?
There is no rulebook though as mentioned there is significant overlap with SS1. Any specific questions can be clarified on the SS2 forum.
SS2 automatically updates as you go along since it is all online so there is no need to 'save' any changes.
For your own records though you might like to save the webpage. Try 'right click' on the mouse and 'save as' onto your desktop otherwise you can google how to do that.
There is also a SS2 section in this forum:
