Probably been noticed by loads over the seasons but I am not the most attentive when it comes to version 2.

This week one of my players got a 7 week injury on Wednesday morning's training. That training ? Rest.

Surely the injury sustained has to be caused at least in part by what the squad is training at otherwise it is just random injuries popping up on a whim (which this example seems to be).

I know Carl is joking though it is feasible that a player could get an injury during a rest day of training. I don't recall that happening to me.

I think most people would agree though that it should be significantly less likely than other types of training.

Actually don't think it should be possible in SS at all. It isn't in the original and there is zero reason why it needs adding in the new version. Just get injured doing training, simple enough and is how it works in SS1 and this hardly qualifies as an improvement it has to be said.

SS isn't meant to duplicate real life (we all know examples of players being injured in domestic non-football situations), just have the player get injured during a training session, plenty to choose from.

This feels like an oversight when coding, hence my mentioning it to bring it to his attention, as I don't think Glynn did this intentionally, I think it is simply a missed line of code to prevent injuries in certain situations (as it is in SS the original).

Yeah it's not something that I would have added intentionally. Sure, a player could injure himself outside of training but I agree that it's not what you want to see in a game. I can't imagine that I'd add it deliberately so it's either an oversight or just a calculation error.
