A real nail-biter here. Elizabethan knew they must win, whilst AEL knew that a draw would see them into the last 8. But AEL were also well aware that a defensive policy would probably see them dumped out of the tournament, so they opted for a daring 4-3-3 formation and took the match to the Elz, and this led to one of the most exciting matches of the competition.
After 3 minutes, AEL manager Dan Bell might have been criticised for his attacking play, when Elz went into the lead, striker Phil White bursting through the offside trap and slipping home the ball.
AEL anxiety was eased half-way through the half when veteren defender Alex Stewart powered home a header from a corner.
1-1 at half-time, both teams came out in the second looking for a breakthrough. AEL got a goal in the 62nd minute through a Richard Connelly goal, but if AEL fans thought they could relax they were wrong. Just 45 seconds later, White got his and Elz's second.
The match now went into a chaotic and nail-biting finish, both teams coming close on several occasions, but it ended 2-2 and AEL make their way into the last 8 by the skin of their teeth.

Sorry about lack of update, didn't get it
It does sometimes round up the numbers wrong, looks like it rounds up (was probably 50.1 against 49.9 or something). I'll fix it..... one day
