Below is the list of the 16 entries to the inaugural Soccer Star Masters. This tournament will be run annually and is open to all managers with two or more teams within SS.
I have taken the first team code I came across for each manger – if we could all use these it will facilitate the easy running of the tournament.
Managers may pick ANY players from their squads, but the starting 11 MUST included players from at least two different teams. There is no age restriction so youth players are allowed.
All entries have to be sent to myself at
nat.machtus@gmail.com and NOT to Glynn. Any entries not received by each week's deadline of Friday lunchtime will be deemed to have forfeited and no exceptions will be made as Glynn runs most games over the weekend. Early entries each week are fine and once opponents are received they will be forwarded to Glynn; so some matches may be played before the weekend.
Each round will last exactly one week so the entire tournament will take 15 weeks.
All entries have to be created using Glynn's "extra-time" program and every text file will require the correct code for both teams be inputted.
When putting your own name into the program please follow this with (NM) exactly as written i.e. with the brackets to differentiate between any other tournaments that may be running at the same time so in the my I would type in the code and then on the next screen I would type Nat Machtus (NM).
All games are one off matches with penalties if required. You may choose up to 5 substitutes from any of your teams.
Round 1 entries are due by this Friday and each week thereafter. This is a round robin tournament where each teams plays every other team. In the unlikely even of a tie goals difference will be taken into account. In the even more unlikely event of a further tie goals scored will be taken into account. In the most unlikely event of a continued tie then a ‘winner takes all’ game will decide the winner.
