FOR ATTENTION OF ALL MANAGERS IN THE COMPETITION

It has become clear that a manager has been sending test games of the fixtures to Glynn to establish whether lineups will win or not. If losing a match then the manager could change the formation to try and win the "real" game or keep everything the same if winning.

Because it is unclear whether this has happened just once or multiple times (Glynn has around 10 to a dozen cases but doesn't know if they all relate to the comp or not) the manager in question has been kicked out of the competition.

Now, that leaves us with three options and I leave it up to yourselves the competing managers (no one else please) to decide - I will take no offence at what you decide (so if you can't be bothered don't be concerned about offending myself as this comp will be a one off now anyway at most and I will just stick to the more popular SS Open).

The choice -

1 - Continue the comp with all teams due to play the barred manager getting a bye.

2 - Scrap the competition

3 - Start the competition from scratch.

I should add that if option 1 or 3 is th way forward I will be withdrawing my own Charscot side to avoid any accusations that I have taken this action to favour myself.

I will leave the decision up to the competing managers.

It seems I need to say who the manager is so managers can make a clear decision. It is Tim.

Basically Tim claims to have only sent off one match but Glynn has received 10/12 from Tim and as it is unclear whether some, none or all of the "extra" games are youth ones, ws games or a mixture the only fair option is to remove him from the comp.

As mentioned to avoid any further accusations I would prefer it if no one comments on Tim's actions as it is history now and I don't want any bad blood on the forum. At the same time I don't want Tim posting on this topic any firther either as his claims are unprovable and it is best for all concerned to just put it behind them.

To repeat, I have withdrawn my own charscot side to prevent any accusations that I have taken this action to benefit them..

If all the competitors can post here or pm myself with their preference of the 3 options and we will take it from there.

All sounds fair although bit disappointed you decided to pull Charscot as we all know ( speaking for all i'm sure ) that you are as straight as a die and would NOT do anything to gain any advantage. I'm happy to keep comp going as said but again shame you felt the need to drop Charscot out mate.

Not happy with dropping them out myself...but I felt it was the only way to guarantee no accusations against myself of trying to make it easier for me/fix it etc..

Now i havent entered but ill add my opinion .
Rich i can see your point as theres alot of finger pointers in ss but you know as well as everyone else that you wouldnt do anything untoward to gain an advantage .
The person in question has been delt with and im sure i speak for everyone the correct decision has been made , basically if the comp has been made easyer for every1 by the teams in question being removed then thats not your or any1 elses problem is it .
Now i find it very hard to believe that your to happy at not being in it no more so do yourself and every1 else a favour and play Charscrotes game for if anything the good of the competition

Ok... having chatted with a couple of managers and received comments from the participants I have decided to re-enter Charscot back into the draw. Clearly whilst my intentions were for the best seemingly the managers all feel I should stay in the comp - and many thanks to you all for the comments.

Before Tim decides to send me umpteen pm's asking to be brought back in please note Tim, it isn't going to happen. All the managers felt I should be in the comp...not one manager has said you should be re-instated so don't even go there

I will edit the draw accordingly and put the result of the Revelstone v Charscot game back in.
