The turn of the season is upon us as well as SLFA Cup Round 2. Hillside were shown last week that we are still to improve to challenge for promotion after we were well beaten. This week we host Crewe P.R. and need to dust off and start off the second half of the season well. Vaga lost a couple too many for me in first half of the season and tbh haven't really found our stride yet. We need to get it soon as time is ticking.... tricky home game against the side directly below us, Selly All Stars. We also have cup action against the side that humbled Hillside last week in the shape of Tyldesley Panthers. There is a definite chance of a cup upset in this one |

Two defeats for AFC Scarborough in League and Cup. Harrogate Railway won 4-1 in the league. |

Hillside hit top gear and were relentless in a 5-0 hammering of Crewe PR Vaga were a tale of two games, very flat in the league game and deserved the defeat we got, cruel their winner being so late though. Much better in the cup and we soon removed any lingering thoughts of a banana skin with a solid 4-1 win. |

Parkside R have been a bit out of form for a while now especially in attack and that was highlighted today as despite having plenty of shots on target our opponents Forfar United were much more clinical winning 2-0. Overall our performance ratings for the game were dire so not an underserved defeat. Did win 2-0 in the cup with a lot fewer chances albeit against a side having their struggles near the foot of div three. |
