Melwood v Vaga Valiants Nice to be back at home and we welcome back our top scorer, who we've really missed in the last couple of matches. Vaga had a little blip of two losses, but otherwise have had an excellent second half of the season. Nevertheless, we have to think positively like title challengers, so will be looking to secure a good win. I'll be more interested in: Atletico Mango v AFC Warkworth. 1st vs 3rd. Really need Warkworth to spank Mango like they did to me this week, although that creates another problem! The only solution for me is to win every remaining game, including against Mango the week after. Simples. |

Last few weeks of the season and my sides both have something to play for. Vaga have found some form in last few games and will have a proper test this week as we head away to tackle Melwood. Always a tough game and I'm quietly confident we can nick a point as we aim for a top 5 finish. Realistically though my main target is to win the YTH game and hopefully grab a second title in a row there. Again the YTHs look to have a difficult game as Melwood are also having a decent season there. Hillside have surprised me a little in having a promotion challenge in my first season with them. We have built a decent young side and they are doing better than expected (we have won 8 and lost 1 of last nine games ). A big game away to Fife Flyers this week could set us up for a top three finish. |

Melwood hammered shot after shot at us, but we held on (almost for 3pts). Very pleased with the point to keep better form going and maybe an upturn in fortune at last. Sadly the YTH side were beaten 1-0, thankfully our main rival also appeared to lose so pretty much as you were there and still in our own hands. Hillside were dominant and really should of won by more. Was surprised to see only one more win needed to confirm promotion too , we take on Cheadlenders next week too so really should be looking to wrap that up. Since turn of season we have played for 36pts and won 30 of those, epic second half of season!! Saying that Vaga have picked up 26pts from the same 36 so both sides doing very well from Week 17 |

You look unstoppable and we're playing some awesome football without all the results. Should be good next week. |

Parkside R have picked up some reasonable draws of late and had another today with a 0-0 at Madchester C,not much in the game by the looks of it...relegation waits a week Kildare R are looking likely to go back into div one after a 3-1 win at home to Lewis Utd,probably need another point to be sure. |

Decent week , but it won't last !! City and Parkside play out a dull nil , nil draw , Parkside looked to have the better chances but City have been decent at the back this season it's going forward where we have lacked the cutting edge ? I said last week our chances of top 3 have ended and I stand by that. Wbu get a needed win to ease the pressure at home to Spread Devils , Wbu needed the win to keep their noses in front of the bottom 3 , close game but feel Wbu just did enough to nick it ? Forest finally end a bad run of 7 defeats with a narrow win at home to Tyldesley Panthers , Forest looked the better side with plenty of the ball but again no cutting edge which has been a problem all season ? It gives them hope they maybe could avoid the drop but need teams to slip up and 2 wins and a draw from last 3 to maybe have the chance ? Congrats to Wilse on making the final , Afc manage to turns the narrow defeat around with a dominating display Hope everyone had a good weekend |
