Feels like the MOA Prem is now spilt in two across the middle. Top 8 going for title and bottom 8 staying away from bottom 3 places.

Vaga have a very tough game ahead as we face off against Royale Tigers. We got a point earlier in season and to be honest that would be a decent return this week, but really we could use the win to keep pushing on.

A 2-0 defeat at home for AFC Scarborough but this is already feeling like a nothing season for them as they are in Mid table mediocrity.

Very even game between Kildare and Long Eaton B however Kildare manage to nick it 1-0.
A combination of poor management letting squad players go and a spate of injuries meant Parkside R could only field 10 players and no subs at home to Fintry and a 3-0 defeat duly followed :)

Another great win for Fintry, a 3-0.victory over Parkside, who we overtake in 4th place.

That's our 6th straight win and 7th in 8 games.

Our next two games, we will be massive favourites to win, so hopefully by the time we face top of the table Forfar in 3 weeks time, we have closed the 6 point gap they have just now.

Thank goodness for that as I went into this game with 6 losses from 6 this week in SS!!

Finally a good result to finish and it was a tight game, but we nicked it.

A draw in MOA Cup so all to play for next week. Ideally want to be fighting for all 3 comps still.

Well the week started good and ended being poor !

Just not had the time this week to really give the teams my 100 % .

Another one of the games I dread as two face off ......

Fair point apiece for City and Wba !

City name an unchanged side as they welcome Wba to the Citadel Stadium , Wba on the other hand make a few changes from the side that lost last week with the two new signings given debuts in defence with Jamil Muhammad coming in for Dave Welham and Silvio Anocic replacing Jonny Gibbs , Kyle Edwards gets recalled in place of Tymo Reus who returned to the bench.

kick off ! Both City and Wba started brightly with both sides seeing plenty of the ball and having chances to strike first blood but both wasting their chances then in the 15th minute Wba broke as City committed men forward and lost the ball when Silvio Anocic intercepted a lose ball from Gabriel Torres and starting the Wba counter ! With Morten Thorsby getting the ball to the feet of Jamie Rodriguez who played an inch perfect ball into Zakky Mirralas who shot first time and managed to hit the post with a slight touch from Moraes Ederson ! With the the confidence swing for Wba it was them who managed to strike first blood when Dwight McNeil and Jamie Rodriguez linked up perfectly on the edge of the box forcing Erik Walker into a clumsy challenge , City was punished for this when Kyle Edwards smashed a fantastic shot into the back of the net directly from the resulting free-kick ten yards outside the area in the 23rd minute ! With Wba in front City moved up a gear and wasted a few more chances before the ref called halt to the first half.

Second half stared abit more tighter but with Wba sitting deep and it wasn't long before Wba made a change when Isaac Green was brought on for Dwight McNeil to try and give Wba some much needed energy in the midfield ! With City chasing the game it was time for them to make first call from the bench with the returning Gerard Gundogan was brought on for the tiring Riyad Sterling this change sparked more life into City and with the balance of play swinging to the home side City made their final change when Bernabe de Silva made way for Shane Zaha. Wba was far from out the game and had chances to put the game to bed but found themselves wasting chances so they made the final call to introduce Tymo Reus for Kyle Edwards which didn't sit to well with the travelling Wba faithful ! With the game reaching the dying embers Gabriel Torres managed to play the ball to the overlapping Danny Ake who got to the by-line to swing a perfect cross into the box that found the un-marked Shane Zaha who headed in nicely from ten yards to pull City back on level terms and earn a deserved point !

The draw was a fair result it would have been harsh for either side to lose but both sides had chances to win the match !

Honors even in top five battle.

Forest un-changed from last weeks win welcome fellow promotion hopefuls Methley Ravens to the City Ground and the fans left with excitement in the veins as both sides went for the three points in an action packed game ! From kick off both sides pushed forward with chances going begging and some fine shot stopping on display from both keepers , neither Forest or Methley Ravens could really get a foot hold of the game with both looking to try and catch the other on the counter ! the first half soon passed and the ref had blew the whistle to bring the teams in level at the break.

The second half started as the first ended with both sides going close to opening the scoring , soon enough Forest finally managed to find a way through when Ryan Yates and James Worrall linked up brilliantly down the right with James Worrall crossing brilliantly in the 50th minute to the unchallenged Innocent Emeghara to head in brilliantly from five yards out to really open the game up ! The lead was short lived as not long after the restart in the 51st minute Ryan Withington grabbed the equaliser for Methley Ravens as he prodded an unmissable shot over the line from close range after a driving attack down the right.
This made the game step up a gear as both sides again threw caution to the wind but it was Methley Ravens who got their noses in front when in the 63rd minute Cole Levitt chipped the ball nicely over the keeper from the edge of the area following a good break from his own half. Now with Forest chasing the game the subs bench became active as the more defensive Ryan Yates made way for the more forward thinking Larry Arter and Forests goal scorer Innocent Emeghara made way for Perrins Van Hooijdonk it was this latter change that forced the challenge from Shaun Keller which hauled down Bryan Roy in the penalty area ! Perrins Van Hooijdonk in the 76th minute had to compose him self as he levelled from the penalty spot.

It was a fair result for both sides and both managers should be happy to keep them in the hunt for top 3 .

Both semi final first legs completed second legs next week please :D

Have a good weekend all 8)
