We still play for pride though as we travel to bottom side Stonefield Cobras. Avoiding defeat would be enough to ensure we don't finish 16th.

We manage to hold our nerve on the big day and seal the title with a good 3-1 home win. Very pleased to be champions again after two barren seasons.

Newport also end the season in style romping to a 4-0 win at Sleights to finish 5th

On holiday at the moment so would be rude not to celebrate with a beer or two this evening

Broughton Rovers draw 1-1 away at Spartans. We finish the season in fourth and a point behind third.

Stanton United win 0-2 away at Portletico FC thanks to two own goals. 5 straight wins sees us miss out on promotion on goals scored.

Retro Palestra win 3-1 at home to Hereford United and finish in third place and are promoted to Division 2. Very pleased with how Retro ended the season.

Congratulations Marc on winning the Premiership and to everyone who achieved their goals.

A battling win to end the season. Sadly relegated on GD in the end, another point somewhere along the way shows the finelines.

However my 4th season in charge ends with 1st (and not unexpected relegation). Started in Div 3 which we won, then season 2 we we 3rd and promoted again, before runners up last season and into the big time. We weren't prepared squad wise, but we battled and learnt alot. Have to make sure we don't relegate again, as we went straight up the leagues, and I need to make sure we don't drop straight back down again.

Well done to Marc and other managers on their successes.

Delighted with a 3rd place finish - my highest with the club since I took them on in Div 3 eighteen and a half seasons ago.

We've always had a young player approach, but 4 seasons ago we sold every player and started again with 18yos (or younger). We only survived one more top-flight season before getting relegated. We then bounced back immediately, followed by 3rd this season. It was a risk worth taking. We don't expect to get much higher though and next season will start with survival as the aim. We just don't do so well against the top teams around us (all 7 loses came against top 8 teams).

Well done Marc and Dave on league and cup.
