Oakbank really need something from our home game against Locomotiv Spartak. We also have a cup semi final against Astral F.C, however will have focus on the league game as not expecting anything from cup game unless we can take it to pens. |

Sleights FC are home to Rich's Revelstone. Our record against them is awful so lets see how we do. |

Having a stinker of a season frankly but some things are universal and beating Sleights is as sure as the Sun rising in the morning Only 2-0 this time as they stick 5 at the back to avoid the usual goalfest. Joking aside, be glad when the season is over, we've been poor. |

4 straight defeats in a row pretty much ends any hopes of finishing in the top 3 as Broughton Rovers lose 3-1 away at Ajax United. Stanton United are finishing the season well with a 0-2 away win at Vale United thanks to two own goals. Think the gap is too big to catch third place, but we’ll keep pushing. Retro Palestra draw 1-1 at home to Brechin Vics. |

Good 2-0 win for Longfield at Wolf Town which means we crank up the pressure on Astral going into the last couple of games. Strange week for Newport who draw 0-0 with leaders Astral but then fail to convert a stack of chances against Rossvale in the Cup and go out miserably 0-1 and miss out on a first cup final |

Two expected defeats sadly although both narrow. We HAVE to win last 2 games now and hope for help. The fact we haven't won since week 19 isn't filling me with confidence. |

Draw for Astral. Suspect we needed to win that one as I don’t expect Longfield to drop any points and Astral won’t win their W31 fixture.. Cheers Dave |
