Is anybody else not seeing the flags on the sheet? I need to know if it's everybody or just me. If it's just me, it'll be an error in my browser or something.

Looks like the github file has been taken down or gone missing or something. Not sure if I kept a local copy, then I could use that. If not, it's a bit screwed unless I can find a copy of that file or I'll have to find an alternative somewhere.

It's also lagging the page up because it's spending a few seconds trying to locate the file. Sigh, and here's my hoping that I'd never have to code again :p

Whew, seems to be fixed. Looks like the cloud version no longer exists, but it's still up on their servers so it's linking to that version now. Going to make a local copy on my server too in case it goes missing altogether, although I'm not sure how to link to that, but it might be worth holding on to in case of an emergency.

Cool, I'd like to take credit but I didn't actually draw the flags. They're in a library, which was previously stored on the cloud but has disappeared. Luckily it's still on the Github server and now I have a copy on the SS server, just in case (although I couldn't work out how to link it, so it's linking from Github right now). The good thing about using a library (other than them doing flags which I couldn't do myself) is that if a flag is ever updated and they update it at their end, it will automatically update on SS too. Libya for example recently had a flag change and I think it should be reflected correctly on the SS2 flags.

I have a feeling that I put some countries in SS2 which make no sense, such as the Falklands, simply because they have interesting flags (not sure if I actually put the Falklands in, but I hope so).

Make no sense agreed...in so much as they aren't a country :D

Actually, the Falklands isn't in. I'm fairly sure some non-countries are in there though, like Jersey? Basically anything with a flag that I thought was interesting got in there, but then some of them, such as the Falklands are obviously way too small to generate more than say, 1 player per year, so I did miss some out. Come to think of it, I think the only reason I missed the Falklands was because their flag wasn't in the list.

Yeah, Jersey and Guernsey are in there, it's not limited to 'countries' as such, just anything that's not in the UK (so Republic of Ireland is listed too, although you'll notice that a lot of 'home grown' players are Rep.I). There's also some places that simply don't produce footballers, such as Vatican City and of course, my favourite, Mongolia, although I suppose they do/could occasionally.

Even the tiny countries have a chance of finding players, although probably not anyone good. Obviously it's not realistic but I do like the flavour and it means they'll almost certainly be part of their international team, even if they're completely useless. International caps do have a tiny impact on the player and you get a bit of money for players from rare countries from your club shop. It's mostly just for flavour, although obviously the main purpose of the international players still exists - i.e to find amazing players in Brazil/Italy etc.
