How exactly is this working in SS1 and should it also be maintained? From what I can see, the money is first totaled, then taxed, then split 75/25 (for a league game) and THEN the policing bill removed? I know there are some errors, but that's what it's trying to do right?

Shouldn't the policing bill be removed prior to everything else, i.e before tax? And therefore both teams pay their share? Seems to me that that would make more sense.

Actually football clubs don't pay for the police any more, the taxpayer does. Change in law last year. Police decide what numbers are needed and the taxpayer pays for it. Clubs only pay for any stewarding or third party security forces.

So as far as policing goes you could lose it for realism.

Oooh, good info, I didn't know that.

So to summarise how the different matches would work, does this sound right?

League Match - Ticket income minus tax is split 75%/25%. That's the away team's share completed. The home team then gets profits from exec boxes + programmes + refreshments but pays for stewards.

Cup Match (Except final) - Either the same with a 50/50 split or does the away team contribute to the stewards or get any of the profits? Not sure why they should and for simplicity I'd say just keep the same formula except 50/50 instead of 75/25?

Finals - Just a lump sum for both clubs.

Sounds good to me in terms of breakdown and keep the formula for cp ties with the away team just getting half the gate receipts raged.
