Okay, I am planning on doing a big inter-league tournament involving ALL players at a club...all managers can pick any combination of players from within their first team and youth team.
Entry is free and open to all teams and the tournament will be run 1 round per week so I would imagine this tournament will take somewhere in the region of 6 to 8 weeks with any luck
Hopefully if there is sufficient interest this will become an annual tournament played at the same time each year (getting ambitious here
).
There will be no restrictions on how many teams a manager can enter, the only proviso is obviously they will have to use the extra-time program and send all their orders in before each week's deadline.
Each week the deadline will be friday at midday and glynn will be running the matches over the subsequent weekend. It is the responsibility of each manager to make sure they get their entries in as no explanations will be accepted (I will try to post a list of teams not yet received towards the end of each week but I am not making any promises).
The draw for the subsequent round will appear over the weekend giving all managers at least 4 1/2 days to get their selections in for the next match.
Due to the WPL coming towards the end of the season (in other words I get very busy with my stats etc) I am leaving this topic open to accept entries up until midday on Friday 22nd April with the draw being made between Friday 22nd and Sunday 24th. The first round of matches will take place the following weekend with the deadline for receiving entries being midday on friday 29th April.
ALL entries will have to be sent to myself at
Grich1159@aol.com. Any entries sent to glynn will be automatically deleted. In the event of neither half of a match being sent in for a round, the team drawn against the winner of the tie in question will automatically be given a bye.
As I don't want to prevent anyone from taking part I will accept all entries and work out the numbers after all entries have been received....it may transpire that there is a pre-qualifying round to get the numbers down to a manageable amount but that will all depend on the number of teams entered.

I considered making this competition have an entry fee but I know a lot of clubs just haven't got the money to spare and I really want to encourage everyone to enter so this competition will be for the glory of beating the teams we all hear about in our respectives forums and on our turns every week.
To start I will enter all 5 of my teams so someone will be guaranteed an easy ride by playing celton
