Week 26 completed (5 weeks to go)

Congratulations to Ben and The Rising Sun!

Prem.
At the top:
Dark Alliance have threatened all season but have just hit the top spot at the right time. By far the biggest scorers in the league, but are not invincible. The top 3 (Partizan and Kirkdale) have all lost 5 games. Shawood chase but I can't see them closing an eight point gap. Realistically, it's Simeon or John for their first-time NSA title.
Champs: 1 from 5

At the bottom:
Real Academy seem to be going down. No big surprise: managerless and culled. Who joins them is the intriguing part. Isleworth (defending Champs and ever-present Premiership team) have been in trouble all season; however, they are only two points from safety and seem to be picking up a few points. Olympic currently are down there with them, but Cork are my hunch to go down. Fixtures will be crucial. Korova, Poole and Madchester are looking nervous.
Relegation: 3 from 12

Div. 1
At the top:
The Rising Sun have been incredible all season and deserve promotion. The will probably be champions after next week. FC Donny Toros look set to join them and Al-Watani quite likely too. Loco are four points off, but they've have a hit-or-miss season: their 9 loses ruining the effect of the 12 wins. Dynamo Saints and St Agnes (who were favourites) need a faultless run-in to challenge.
Promotion: 3 from 12

At the bottom:

The bottom three look doomed: Wolves, Fetteresso Utd and Sinjuns. At least eight points from safety. PSV Caley is their only hope really.
Relegation: 3 from 8

Div. 2:
At the top:
Eastcote and Ruislip have led from early on, but it's not clear cut. Frog are close behind but then three teams are waiting for a slip-up (Rockwell, Park Junior and Fetteresso Rovers).
Promotion: 3 from 12

At the bottom:
Castlebay and Mercia Vikings are certain to go down. With only 10 and 11 points all season, I'm not sure they can close a thirteen point gap in 5 games. Anfield are currently saving Tottenham Vale from joining them. I can't see anyone else getting drawn into the battle.
Relegation: 3 from 12

Div. 3:
At the top:
Exciting division (as we say almost every year). Mearns, Lakeland, Riverside and FC Tayside gather within 1 point of each other. One will miss out and possibly another, because Everton are only two more points behind that. Fixture analysis needed!
Promotion: 3 from 8

At the bottom:
T64 is once again the control team, Blackburn Olympic.

FC Tayside have to show bottle last two games of the season if they are going to gain promotion.

Mearns Utd are certainly punching above their weight this season, shame half the squad are near retiring age.

Absolutely delighted not to be in the bottom three with Loco, no idea why we are where we are.
I decimated the squad who were aging and started the season with only nine players and two 16yo's, bought a few fringe players from other clubs with what little money we had and the aim was simply to avoid relegation while we built up the player stats and cash.
Player stats have improved a bit (money hasn't  ) but a good end to season means we're not looking down for once

Division 3 Run In

Week 27 - 4 weeks to go

Another very competitive season in Division 3 with only 5 points separating 5 teams with the managers being Dave Curtis, Mike Taylor, Brian Mann, Steve Readman and Chris Hinchley.

In week 26 there were wins Mearns who remain top and have a 3 point cushion over 4th spot but they face the toughest run-in, which means Dave is in total control of whether he goes up or not. FC Tayside jumped into the top three with a win. The battle between 2nd and 3rd finished goalless between Riverside and Lakeland. Everton looked to be on for 3 points but conceded a goal 5 minutes from time at lowly Baseball.

The run in looks to be just as competitive as the season has been as in the remaining 4 weeks there is always one game where the teams in question play each other.
Mearns have 3 of the 4 games against their rivals
Lakeland have 1 of the 4 games against their rivals

Mike's quicker than me. I'll update at the weekend. Certainly looking close in most divisions.

I'm not taking anything for granted as far as FC Tayside are concerned, will be very disappointed though if we miss out again.

Week 27 completed (4 weeks to go)

As expected The Rising Sun are champions of Division 1 - well done. Commiserations to Real Academy, who are relegated (because even a 43 goal difference can't be changed in four week). Castlebay and Tottenham Vale are also relegated this week.

Prem.
At the top:
Dark Alliance only draw so Partizan pull level. 3 goals separate them with 4 games to go. Kirkdale are 7 points off.
Champs: 1 from 5

At the bottom:
Real Academy are down and need a manager. Isleworth and Olympic are three points from safety, because Cork got a big win, despite my foolish suggestion that they were my hunch to go down. Korova, Poole and Madchester are still target teams.
Relegation: REAL ACADEMY + 2 from 9

Div. 1
At the top:
The Rising Sun are champions and with 20 wins already, it is well-deserved. FC Donny Toros and Al-Watani are still in 2nd and 3rd. Loco stumbled so St Agnes take up the mantle for the chasing pack.
Promotion: THE RISING SUN + 2 from 10

At the bottom:

The bottom three look doomed: Wolves, Fetteresso Utd and Sinjuns but they all picked up points last week so PSV Caley are now only safe by 5 points.
Relegation: 3 from 7

Div. 2:
At the top:
Eastcote and Ruislip still in the driving seat but Rockwell, Frog and Park Junior are tying for third place!
Promotion: 3 from 12

At the bottom:
Castlebay and Mercia Vikings are down. Anfield and Tottenham Vale level on points and one will be disappointed. No one else is remotely close to them.
Relegation: 3 from 6 but realistically from 4!

Div. 3:
At the top:
See Mike's report on this as it is far more detailed than I can manage. In summary: it's rather close! Anyone in the top 5 can take promotion.
Promotion: 3 from 7

At the bottom:
T64 is once again the control team, Blackburn Olympic.

Loco play Al-Watani in a couple of weeks which could make things clearer although I suspect we will have more of an affect on the relegation spots as we play Sinjuns and Caley also.
As this week showed we don't always do well against the "lower" sides, so even if we beat Al-watani we'll probably throw it away in the other ties, just happy we'll be affecting relegation without competing for it for once
