Six Weeks To Go!

PREMIER
London Elite look on course for another title. Their win at Bromsgrove combined with Miami’s surprise defeat to Zedd leaves them eight points clear at the top. Last season’s champions Inter Derby are eleven points behind London with a vastly inferior goal difference. In theory Super Sours and Swinfen Hall could still just about catch the leaders, but realistically a top three finish is the very best they could hope for.

Crusaders are ten points from safety and with only one win all season look doomed. The other two relegated sides are likely to come from March Town, Tottenham Crew, Zedd, Hornets, Kilburn and Bromsgrove. Of those sides, Zedd picked up a win this week to escape the bottom three whilst Hornets drew, with all the others losing.

Both of Baz’s sides are at home to lower league opposition in the Cup Semi Final, throwing up the possibility of an all-Baz final!

Game to watch in week 26: Kilburn United v Tottenham Crew. Kilburn can take a massive step towards ensuring their Premier Division status with a home win against a side currently in the bottom three.

DIVISION ONE
It’s still very competitive at the top. Exeter City look well placed, Celyn Coyotes look very well placed, and both of these sides should secure promotion. In the mix for the final spot are ASP Gold Star, Glasgow 2014, Woodvale, Waldridge Park and Cair Paravel. Qaldridge Park lost o Cair Paravel this week whilst Woodvale drew at Dream Vipers, otherwise all these sides picked up points.

At the bottom it’s realistically three from Dream Vipers, Carnbroe Thistle, Bruggen Village, Wolverines and Oakwood Rangers to go down. Bruggen Village did themselves a huge favour beating Oakwood this week.

Game to watch in week 26: Waldridge Park v ASP Gold Star. Waldridge Park desperately need a win to avoid being left behind in the promotion push.

DIVISION TWO
The promotion places look like going to three of the top six: Oaken Raiders, Mann United, Askham Bryan, Santos United, Stainsacre and Taynton United. Of those six, only Oaken Raiders won this week.

Ambergate’s 3-1 defeat means they will be relegated and Whitnage look likely to join them as they are eleven points from safety. Several teams could join them with one of PSV, Rapid, Arsenal and Boston being the most likely.

Game to watch in week 26: I’m looking at Boston United v Askham Bryan Athletic. A win for Boston would help them pull away from the bottom three, whilst Askham Bryan could also do with a win as they seek to stay in the top three.

DIVISION THREE
Literally about half the division could still go up with Arduthie being the best placed. Winless Padiham Town will almost certainly finish last.

Game to watch in week 26: the battle of the top two. Thunder Spheres v Arduthie
